She shrugged. "It's alright, I guess."
I whipped my head at the black beauty, "Babe?"
"It's already enough." Normani smiled. I looked at the shorter girl, who has been giving off a gloomy aura the past week, after the tiny incident happened.
I stared down at the homework, essay specifically, which will be used in a contest. I didn't even signed up for this,
the school forced me to.
and my stupid ass didn't know that was the purpose of it.
The essay was assigned to all of the students. And out of all of them, they picked the tallest girl in the school.
It's not my fault, the topic was about gender, so why wouldn't I sprinkle it with what I know? I literally could swing the LGBT flag during the contest.
"Didn't know you could wrote so much." The black haired laid her head against my chest, "Right Allyboo?"
The sunshine snapped out of her thoughts, looking at us with those big brown orbs, "Uhm, say that again?"
Normani repeated what she said again. The blonde haired girl immediately agreed, showing her brightening smile, soon turning flat in just a couple of seconds, dazing back to her own world.
"Haven't you talked about it?" I whispered to the woman.
"No." The second taller girl replied, frowning. "I would try to yet, she'll just be utterly quiet unless I'll change the subject we are talking about." There was a hint of sadness in the black beauty's voice.
"She just needs some time." I told the woman. "Lauren is like that too."
"I thought you haven't saw her yet?"
"I didn't..." I trailed off. "It was an accident actually." I smiled cheekily, remembering the events of last Saturday...
**Flashback**
I yawned as I wandered down the street.
I have no clue on why I decided to go out and do nothing but walk.I'd rather do that than to be caged up again in my apartment doing nothing.
I sighed, passing a few houses till I'm in front of a very familiar household, lights off like usual.
What could she be doing?
Time to find out.
Without thinking, I headed straightly to the door. My hand was about to knock on it. Suddenly, a thought came in to my mind, saying it wasn't the best idea.
Fuck it. She's my bestfriend after all.
The door swung opened before I could do the movement. There stood the black raven haired girl, giving off the usual 'not in the mood' vibe.
"What?" She asked in irritation.
"Can't I have a 'hi' first?"
"Hi then, now what?"
"Let me inside your home bish." I confidently passed the woman, acting like I really live here.
I wanted to be extra so I don't see why I won't.
Lauren shut the door, sitting on the couch, basically across me. "What do you want Dinah?"
"I just want to have a normal conversation Jauregui." I honestly said.
She rolled her eyes, "Hell no you ain't. You're checking me up since-"
"I'm being nice and trying to comfort you green eyed girl." I scoffed. "Well, If you don't want then, i'll took my leave."
"No, don't. I'm sorry I-" She sighed, "It's just a frustrating week. I could have handle better than that Dinah, but..."
"But your anger or let's say, jealousy, had gotten the best of you?" The woman nodded. "That's normal Lauren. You just made it to far. Haven't you open up to Ally?"
She shook her head. "No. I trust her Dinah, I really do. I just don't trust her friend, Perrie. I'm scared you know? I'm scared losing the girl I call 'my girlfriend'."
"That wasn't the only reason." She started off. "I'm so sure now. Perrie knows Lucy Dinah."
"Do you even have evidence?" I asked.
"I do." Lauren goes up to her room, leaving me all alone in the living room. After the constant wait, she finally came back, hand clutching with something.
"This is the evidence." The green eyed girl handed me a picture.
I grabbed it from her hold, eyes analyzing on the old picture, whereas kid version of Lauren is in it.
"Vero, Me, Lucy, and Perrie."
**Flashback Over**
"I gotta go guys." Ally waved us goodbye before leaving the both of us alone.
"That really happened?" My girlfriend whispered, facing me.
"Babe, she isn't in the house anymore." I chuckled. "Yes, it did."
"So..." She trailed off. "What now?"
"I'll help." I shrugged. "Maybe."
"Don't get yourself in danger Hansen." Normani warned. "Because I think I got myself in."
"What?"
"I kinda bumped into her last week..."
"And that isn't a 'Kinda'. You threatened her to, didn't you?" I eyed the woman.
She smiled cheekily. "It wasn't a threat, only a reminder that i'm not scared of Vives."
And just like that, I so wanted to mentally facepalm right now.
