Chapter 19: Starlight Sky

Kaiba POV
"Well why don't you stay with me and Yugi stays with Yami." I offered. Ms.Mutou didn't say anything at first, she looked conflicted "I don't know Kaiba Yugi and Yami probably need my help." Ms.Mutou said "And besides I don't want to be bother some." She added. Wait a minute did I just seriously ask her to stay with me, note to self rehire the therapist. I look back to Yami who is sound asleep while Yugi is still unconscious. I look over to Luna to find her just...looking at them not showing any emotion. Few more hours has passed I look over to find Luna asleep she shivered a bit "I'm going to regret this aren't I." I whispered to myself I take off my jacket and place it on top of her and I go back to work on my computer. All of a sudden I hear the sound of shuffling and mumbling I look up to find Yugi stirring up. "Ugh, What the.... What the....." Yugi said as he took in his surroundings "Kaiba?" Yugi asked in a surprised tone.
Yugi POV
What is Kaiba doing here, it's been a while since last seen each other. I mean sure we've made up and it's very rare for Kaiba to hangout with us, but we aren't that close. I look next to him to find Luna asleep with Kaiba's jacket I then felt something on my hand. I look down to find a hand on top of mine I look to see the owner of the hand to find.....Yami. He looks like he has been crying for hours I can't believe I was the reason I made him cry. "How do you feel." Kaiba whispered "I feel like a bus hit my head multiple times." I said. My head is not the only thing that hurts my whole body is sore what happened to me. I then hear someone stir I look to the side to find Luna stretching a bit then rubbing her eyes. She finally opens her eyes and looks at me with surprised expression "Yugi." was all she said before she got up Kaiba's jacket falls to the side I don't think she even noticed it was on her. She walks to my side of the bed carefully she sits on the bed and gives me a hug..... well some sort of a hug it was kinda hard not to touch me without me feeling pain. "Luna what happened?" I asked Luna looks over at Kaiba and then back at me with a worried look "Yugi, our home was trashed and you got attacked in the process." Luna said holding my hand. Suddenly the events of last night came in a flash "Oh." I said. Suddenly a certain someone was also starting to wake up I look over to see Yami's head slowly starting to lift off He then yawns his eyes finally met mine. All of a sudden I'm being attacked with light kisses on my face I giggle as they are kinda tickling me. "Oh my love your okay...your okay." Yami said to me but I think it was more for himself. I look over to see Luna was gone "Kaiba wasn't Luna here." I asked him He then looks over to where Luna was and for the first time Kaiba looks surprised.
Luna POV
I snuck out of the room as soon as Yami, Yugi, and Kaiba were distracted. I couldn't be there anymore for one of two reasons was one I haven't eaten anything after work, and two I was about to break. I have never cried in front of people mostly because after my parents' death I decided if I didn't cry I would be the strong one. Some people may say it's not healthy to keep it bottled up others might say I'm weak, but to I say those kinds of people you don't know what I have been through for the past 16 years of my life. Back when I was beginning to become a professional spy I was trained to keep my emotions in tact one of the many things I'm grateful that I learned. I walked towards the elevator as hit the button to go the roof. My mind kept wondering to what happened back at the hospital room. Kaiba put his jacket coat thing over me... why? He has been acting differently with me lately first the sudden invite to stay for dinner, next he comes to the hospital with me, and then he puts his jacket over me, and now he invites me to stay at his home. Why? Is all that's filling my thoughts the sound of the elevator door opened drifts me out my mind. I walk at the end of the roof thankfully there isn't that many cars out tonight and the night sky looks absolutely gorgeous they way the stars shines and the different shades of blue and dark purple blend together beautifully. The gentle wind flows through my hair I allow myself to relax these past couple of hours I have been stressing even when I took a nap I felt tense I take in a deep breath slowly but surely I can feel my muscles slowly starting to relax. Felt a hand on my shoulder I look over to see Yami. "Thought I would find you here." Yami said with a forced smile "Yami you don't need to fake it for my sake." I said with a soft smile his smile slowly descends into a small frown "How did you know I would be up here." I asked "When ever things get a little crazy you would always climb to the roof tops to take a breather." Yami responded I look over to Yami "At least that what Yugi told me." He added with a sheepish smile I couldn't help but chuckle a bit "So Kaiba said that your gonna stay with him while I take care of Yugi." Yami said "*sigh* I don't know, I don't want to leave you with taking care of Yugi all by yourself, but Kaiba's place is closer to Kaiba Corp." I said looking back at Domino City or at least the silhouettes of Domino "Well I say you should go to him." Yami said "What about Yugi?" I asked "Don't worry about him it's not like he can't walk he's just going to be in bed rest." He said "Well still, wanna help in some way." I argue "Oh my Ra Luna! You're one of the most stubborn people I have ever met!" He exclaimed "Excuse me?" We both look over to see Kaiba at the door frame "Yugi wants to see you Yami." Kaiba said. Yami sighed before he left to go attend Yugi, Kaiba moves out of the way and then comes to where I am "Are you okay?" Kaiba asks "I'm fine." I said looking at him from the side. "So.." I said "Yes?" He asks he looks me I look at his eyes. I let out a small gasp his eyes...... they look beautiful in the night sky his icy cold stare is now turned into a beautiful lake that sparkles I couldn't help but look at them. "Ms.Mutou." Kaiba calls me out of my trance "Uh.. oh what is it?" I asked "I think we should go back inside it's getting late." Kaiba said as he started to walk back to the door way "Well are you coming." He asks I simply nod and go back inside.

It's been a long time since my other chapter. But I have an excuse of why I have been so busy......I blame it on high school😐
