Chapter 12: Going back

Luna POV

Tomorrow morning I go back to work which took forever to get here I can finally leave my solitary prison! Yugi is currently out with Yami again this week so that leaves me and the whole house to myself with no inter- "Agent Luna do you read me over." uption never mind I grab my earpiece and place it in my ear "Yes I read you over." I responded "Hehe this is just like old times gee I really missed doing these kinds of stuff." The chief squealed I roll my eyes "Well anyways the research staff found more information about Gaming Inc they should be sending more information at any sec." Chief said "Good I hope this will end everything." I said. Soon I heard my phone go off "Well that was fast." I thought I looked at my phone
Evan:Hey gonna be there in 5 to pick up your dress😄
He is making this such a big deal I don't understand why it's just a formal dance or prom. I go to my room and pick out my clothes, I grab a simple black shirt with maroon pants and with my black combat boots normally I wear these to a mission I was about to close the door until something in my closet caught my eye......My dad's green jacket I've had it redone since there was so many holes and it was slowly falling apart. Same fabric just different design I've worn this jacket everyday back when I was pro Duelist those good old days I should really get back to doing pro dueling.
I head downstairs with my dad's jacket in hand when all of a sudden I hear the bell from the door go off "I'll be there in a sec." I yelled as I ran downstairs to the game shop "Ready to go." Evan said "Oh Evan I thought you were coming here in 5 minutes." I said "Well I had an early lunch break so yeah come on let's go I wanna see the dress." Evan whined as he grabbed my wrist and ran to his car as I am being dragged. We made it to Tina's shop in a matter of 5 minutes since Evan here stepped on the pedal we walked into the shop when all of sudden I'm up in the air as I slowly feel my ribs being crushed "HILUNAITSGREATYOSEEYOUAGAINICANTWAITYOSEEYOUINTHEDRESSTHATIVEMADEYOUISTILLCANTBELIEVTHATLUNAMUTOUTHELUNAMUTOUISGOINGTOWEARONEOFMYDRESSES."Tina said very quickly I only under stood the first part then she lost me. "N....Nice....to...see...you.....too" I said desperately gasping for air "Tina let her go your going to kill her for Pete sakes."Evan said she he put his hand on his face to show his frustration "Oh woops." She says as she lets me go I take in a big chunk of air as I try to regain oxygen in my system "Sorry I just got super excited." Tina says as she sheepish rubs the back of her neck. She goes to the back room and then came back with a lacey periwinkle Dolores dress. Tina handed me the dress then pushed me into a fitting room. (A/N Couldn't find the dress and I can't draw dresses😭). The fitting room didn't have any mirrors so there was no way I knew what I looked like. I stepped out of the dressing room both Tina and Evan gasped "Oh my Ra you look fabulous. " Evan squealed as he ran up close to me to get a better look at me "I swear if I wasn't gay I would take you out any time." Evan said "Well what do you think Tina." I asked all though I love the dress I would like to see what Tina sees in creation "I think you are going to be the eye of the ball no man or women won't resist looking at your direction." Tina said as she snapped her fingers dramatically.
That afternoon I returned to work I left the dress in my closet and had Evan drive me to work. I reached to my desk and immediately I get stacks and stacks of folders that look like it haven't been delivered in weeks I sigh as I grab the stacks of folders and deliver them to Kaiba. I knock on the doors softly I wait for a response the door swings open I happen to look down to see a very excited Mokuba "Luna your back !" Mokuba said as he lunged towards me and gave me a big hug "Nice to see you too." I said I look into the office to not find Kaiba "Hey Mokuba where's that brother of yours." I asked as I lift myself up "Oh he left for a meeting 30 minutes ago he should be back soon." Mokuba said with gloom "Well can you tell him I came by to drop his papers." I said I look down to see papers scattered around the floor "oops let me help you." Mokuba said as he got down and started picking up the papers I also got down to pick up papers. Once we were down picking up papers we places them on the desk "Well I better get back to my desk see ya Mokuba." I said I was not paying attention to where I was going because I bump into some one and landed on butt my nose started to hurt really bad as well "Ouch." I said as I rub my nose all I saw was a hand I grabbed the hand they pulled me forward. They pulled way to forward cause of all a sudden my whole body was against someone I happen to look up to see a pair of blue eyes staring at me "Gah ahh sorry sorry." I said as I quickly moved away from him I felt my face go all warm probably my face is beet red "Ms.Mutou your back I didn't know you were coming back this afternoon." Kaiba said in his monotone voice " Well my one week recovery ended I decided to take the morning off." I said as I try to get my face back to normal "How was the meeting big bro." Mokuba asked with a twinkle in his eyes "Business as usual." Kaiba said as he walked towards his desk "So uh great." Mokuba said while the Kaiba brothers were talking I decided that I should probably leave "Where are you going ms.Mutou." Kaiba said all of a sudden I stopped dead in my tracks "Going back to work?" I said in a confused tone "Mokuba would you please give us some privacy I would like to talk to Ms.Mutou." Kaiba asked his little brother. Mokuba nodded his head and walked out of the office,we stood there in silence it was so awkward "Please don't fire me." I repeated myself multiple times in my head "Ms.Mutou I would like to say thank you." Kaiba said I stood there waiting for him to blow for five minutes we stood there in silence I finally spoke up "For what?" I asked "For saving my little brother." Kaiba bespoke my body suddenly relaxed "Oh your welcome." I spoke "Also thank you to you as well." I continued "For what." Kaiba said now with a disconcerted look in his eyes "For helping me out in the after math for getting me help and letting me rest." I spoke from the heart I really do owe him big time "It was nothing special." Kaiba said with nothing but rudeness "It was special to me." I addressed. He lifted his eyebrows with curiosity "You know what forget I said that Ill go back to work." I said I headed towards the door and went back to the door

Seto POV
"It was special to me." Why can I not stop thinking about it its been an hour since our discussion never mind she is nothing but just a secretary not only that but she happens to be the sister of Yugi Mutou the King of Games that title should have been mine "Big bro are you coming home." Mokuba said as his head is peeking in "Oh right yeah I'll be there in a minute." I said as I grab my brief case. I walk out of my office to find mokuba playing on his phone "Lets go Mokuba." I said we hoped into our limo and headed straight back home.
