Chapter 27: Realization

Monday
Luna POV
Today I go back to work. Great. It's been two days since the incident and to be honest I wanna go and crawl into a hole and never come out. "Hey Luna." Evan greets me as I enter the building "What's up." I greet him "Nothing, just glad you are coming to work today it's been so boring without you." Evan says "How's Yugi?" Evan asks "He is getting better which reminds I have to text Yami if he made it to school fine." I say I attempt to get my phone to be only grabbed by Evan "Later, I hope you are ready for the day." Evan says. We both get into the elevator Evan hits the button that goes into my floor "What's going today?" I ask "Well it's been confirmed about the wedding day and you have been receiving emails. So you have many appointments you have to go to with Mr.Kaiba." Evan explains "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH" I yell at my brain but on the outside "What kind of appointments?" I say sounding like I'm not dying on the inside I'm now even more thankful about the intense training of controlling my emotions "Oh you know getting rings sized, looking at venues, tasting cake samples, etc." Evan says. The elevator door opens to my floor I walk towards my desk which surprisingly there isn't stacks of papers everywhere Evan must have taken care of that as well "When do these appointments start?" I ask as I set down my stuff. As if it was rehearsed a group of men in black suits get out of a room and they wait for someone else. They get into a circle formation I can't see who is in the middle but I have I pretty good idea who it is. They make an opening and they give me a pretty good view of Kaiba "I'd say now." Evan says. I quickly grab my brief case. Inside the brief case I have Kaiba's financial papers, schedules, and other paper things, but I also have my earpiece, my dog tag and spy ID, and my gun put in safety mode. I walk in the circle as I turn around they already close my exit. I can't see where we are going but nonetheless I walk straight I keep my gaze straight and avoiding Kaiba's scorching gaze on the side of my head. We head upstairs which by my guess we are going to take a private jet or a helicopter. "Luna Mutou will be seated with security." One of the security guys announce. I look to the side to see Kaiba perplexed "But she's my secretary." Kaiba argues "Sir we need her to be with us." The same guy explains. It looked like Kaiba had more to say but since we are wasting time I go with the security and Kaiba sits in his usual place. I take a seat by the window a guy sits right in front of me "A message from Chief." He said "He needs you to come down to HQ for some training. Also he needs you to report today's events. You have permission to knock out whoever threats Mr.Kaiba and Ms.Sennen." He explains "Tell the Chief I'll be there later this afternoon noon. I'll get the reports done by 11:30." I say the messenger nods he gets up and leaves me alone. I open my brief case and get out my earpiece and activate them I get my dog tag and use my shirt to conceal it. "Oh Yugi." I remind myself I get my phone out and text Yugi I'll be late for dinner again.
Yugi:Oh okay🙁
I look at my reports to see if I can piece together who might be sabotaging the wedding. I happen to be looking at one of my old reports to find the guy that beat up Mokuba and I when I recognize the logo on that guy's jacket I quickly go my most recent report which was when I met Vex. They are wearing the same logo which means. Dr.Everbleed must be involve with this which means he must be working with Gaming Inc. I quickly write my report down and email it to the Chief.
Few Hours Later
Luna POV
We have arrived to our destination which is Oia, Santorini, Greece. The jet lands and we are immediately getting off the jet we are greeted with more security, but I recognize a women with lilac hair "Luna!" Eliza yells as greets me with a hug I hug her back of course "Eliza it's good to see you." I respond "Same here." She says. Eliza then looks over at Kaiba and I can feel the awkward tension I look around and it seems like I'm not the only one. "Hello Kaiba." Eliza greets him very professional she reaches out to shake his hand "Hello Ms.Sennen." Kaiba greets her formally as well as he shakes her hand. A man with a beige colored ivy cap he had very pale skin with blue eyes and from what I can tell he has black hair he is wearing a white button up shirt with three buttons undone you can see some chest, he had navy blue with little white boats shorts, and some brown worn out looking brown flip flops. "Geis sas." He greets us "My name is Calix and I will be your translator my friends." Calix introduces himself "I see we have the groom, but who is the wife." He asks Eliza raises her hand "Ah so the young lady must be an extra if you want you can always hang around with me if your ever lonely panemorfi." Calix says as he kisses the back of my hand "Unfortunately she is my secretary I'm afraid she will be busy all day." Kaiba says with venom "But of course." Calix says. He shows us around the town we look at many different venues if I had enough money I would buy all of these places they all are beautiful. Calix explains the history of the town while also making flirty remarks at me which I simply ignore it,but Kaiba on the other hand he looks like he is ready to murder this guy. "Here we are also famous for our beaches." Calix shows us the beaches is breathtaking the pearl white sand with no trash scattered around and the water looks beautiful you can see the ground it had a blue and turquoise sparkling tint to it "I wouldn't mind having the wedding here. What do you think Kaiba?" Eliza asks "Agent Luna convince them to have the wedding outdoor we need an escape route that's fast and easy." Chief says "Eliza you are gonna wear heels it's going to be pain to walk in not to mention the dress you are wearing has a lot of layers you are gonna get hot. Besides Mr.Kaiba doesn't like the beach that much." I explain. Kaiba looks genuinely shock as for Eliza she seems to be thinking about it "Well if you still would like a wedding near the beach there are other venues we can look at." Calix compromises "I would like that." Eliza says.
Few moments later
Luna POV
Eliza and Kaiba have finally come to a decision about the venue they are currently discussing details with Calix. While I, I'm looking at the emergency exits making a plan as I go incase things go south. I go back once I have made plan as soon I come back to the main lobby Eliza and Kaiba were out waiting for me "There you are." Kaiba says "Where did you run off to?" Eliza asks "Geez you guys sound like my parents." I say jokingly though only Eliza took it as a joke while Kaiba on the other hand looked insulted "I was checking out the venue." I say. The venue they decided to have is a church that has a beautiful view of the beach. We continue with our schedule until it is 6:30 late in the afternoon Kaiba and I head into Calix's office to do some paperwork and have documents done not to mention to see if this is all on budget which knowing that Eliza and Kaiba are paying the wedding I'm sure they have more than enough to cover the cost of two weddings. We say our goodbyes to Calix and Eliza as head inside the jet and once again I'm sitting with security which is completely fine at least this gives me an opportunity to get my reports done with out any "distractions.". I also do some appointments to get a training room for me on Saturday and I also book a hotel room in Tokyo for the Card History Exhibition the following day I have been planning out my moves since the day Pegasus offered it to me I even wrote down notes.
A few days after the Card History Exhibition
Luna POV
The card exhibition was awesome I had so much fun. Yugi, Yami, and I went to look around we see Yugi's hall and his deck we also went to see Yami's  hall as well. The tournament was a bit challenging since I didn't have my deck and working with fake cards is difficult, but in the end it was a draw between Pegasus and I. For the training room I got in my hours and reworked on my gunship skills and my knife skills as well it's was a bit of a challenge since I work better with hand to hand combat, but knowing Dr.Everbleed they aren't going to use their fists. As for my relationship with Kaiba right now has been....awkward I try to avoid him as much as possible unfortunately I work with him everyday so I see him all the time. Things at Kaiba Corp have been a bit crazy since the wedding day is coming closer each day everyone has been working to get their hours in so they can support their boss on his big day not to mention people shopping for outfits and wedding presents for the groom. I work at my desk as usual answering emails, answering angry phone calls, scheduling meeting, and such. I go into Kaiba's office to put some paperwork on his desk I knock outside of the door I hear no response I knock again and once again no response "Oh no." I think to myself I quietly open the door I look in to make sure the intruder isn't there ready to attack me I slowly gain my confidence I see no threat everything looks normal "Huh, must have gone to the bathroom." I mumble to myself I then hear the door shut I turn around to find Kaiba locking the door preventing me from leaving "Oh my Ra! You scared me!" I yell "Sorry Luna I really needed to talk to you." Kaiba says "For the last time you can call- wait you said my name" before I could finish Kaiba pulls me in and catches my lips. I stay there completely shocked I don't make a move. He then retreats "Please Luna tell me I'm not crazy." Kaiba whispers on my lip. I can't take it anymore! I quickly reconnect my lips to his I instinctively put my arms around his neck and pull myself even closer to him, Kaiba then lifts me up and I wrap my legs round his waist thank Ra I don't have my earpiece on. I sense him walking somewhere until he puts me on his desk we continue to kiss until he moves his lips to my jawline then he trails down to my neck leaving every inch of neck nothing but light pecks "K-Kaiba w-we-" I stutter I can't even finish my sentence before Kaiba goes up again to reach my lips adding more passion I feel myself slowly giving myself up to him he licks my bottom lip asking for entrance I oblige to him. He explores inside my mouth I don't fight for dominance. He then goes back to kissing my jaw and going up to nibble my earlobe which makes me wanna moan out his name, but I know I can't do this to him he's getting married for Pete sake, but Ra it feels so right "K-Kaiba w-we c-can't d-do this y-y-your getting m-married." I stutter as I slowly push him away I can immediately feel my cheeks burning up "Right." He says as he gets off of me and I climb down his desk, I also adjust my shirt. "I'm sorry." Kaiba apologizes "It's fine." I say I don't make eye contact with "Luna I-I love you. I wanted to say it before I get married. You may leave." He says he orders the last part a little aggressively which makes me jump and I quickly leave his office.
Kaiba POV
She's right. I'm getting married in less than a few weeks. I can't have feelings towards her when I'm gonna be someone's husband. I wonder if she could possibly love me back I mean she didn't retreat three times when we kissed that must mean something. My Ra her lips they are soft and they taste like strawberries not to mention the inside of her mouth was permeant. What have I gotten myself into.
Yo next chapter it's gonna be the wedding I'm soooo excited I literally planned for the chapter, but I'm soo sad that it's going to be the last chapter for this story.
