We went after my suitcase and then, still half hugged, left the airport.

"I told you to park our car somewhere more near, now we have to walk for like an hour." When we were out in the London's breezy air, Linda sighed.

"Oh, you lazy ass!" Derek chuckled and placed a quick kiss on her lips. I just had to look away, but a smirk escaped from my lips.

"You guys are so cute." I said while raising my eyebrows.

After a good ten minutes, we were standing ahead of a silver colored Porsche.

"Let me get that for you." Derek said and gave me another one of his heart melting smiles, while taking my suitcase.

The whole car ride to their home, to my new home, we spent by just getting to know each other. I got to know that Linda is an artist and spends most of her time in her own gallery and that Derek is some kind of business man and he loves hiking and sleeping in a tent.

"Speaking of hiking, will you join us for our every year hiking trip?" Derek looked in the mirror so that he could see me in the backseat.

"Yes, of course I will. I'm sure it's gonna be so fun." I smiled. To be honest, I was ready to spend all of my free time with them, no matter what we're doing.

"But how bout you tell me something more?" I asked. Derek cleared his throat but Linda was already faster.

"So the plan is to leave next weekend." She said and Derek groaned.

"Sorry, love." She gave him a smile that automatically made him to smile back and he put his hand on her tight.

Damn, I want this kind of love.

"Because of you, this year we changed everything a bit, so we'll be leaving on a Friday morning, and will be back by Sunday evening."

"Also Alexander will finally join us. Last year his excuse was school." Derek said and Linda kept nodding. It was easy to understand that the fact makes her so happy.

Um, what?

"Excuse me, who's Alexander?" I asked, hoping it sounded polite and not dumb.

"You didn't tell her?" Derek gave his wife a surprised look.

"It just never came up." Like apologizing, she lifted both of her hands.

"Alec is our son." Derek said, while giving me a soft look.

And no one thought that it should be important to tell me that they have a son. A god damn son! A boy in the house!

"How old is he?" I asked without even controlling it. They both chuckled.

"Oh, girls! Always after British men!" Derek winked at me and I could feel how my cheeks turn more red every second.

"Don't scare her away, you idiot!" Linda playfully hit the back of his head and turned around to explain.

"He just turned 21, and this year will be his last year of university. He also has his own apartment so he's not living with us for like four years already, don't worry. Won't have to share a room!" She explained and my kind of excitement about this son got lost in like a second.

He's finishing university, while I'm finishing  high school. I mean, he could be even having his own family by now. Will he call me sister?

After a few more minutes, Derek finally parked his car. Ahead of us was a normal size house, painted white and with two big windows.

"I'm sure that you'll like your new room." Linda winked at me before leaving the car. We all got out, and I followed Linda because Derek said that he's gonna take my suitcase.

The furniture was simple but it was really bright and pretty. Linda showed me a little bit of where everything is and then it was time to finally see my room.

"Oh wow!" I gasped, once I walked into my new room. The first thing that I noticed is that, it was two or even three sizes bigger than my old one. There was a big bed, a white fluffy carpet underneath it, a white dresser, a big table, also a bookshelf and even a door to my own bathroom. I loved every inch of this room.

The next hour I spent by just unpacking my clothes and putting them into my dresser.

"Dinner's ready!" Linda shouted from downstairs. I practically jumped down the stairs and to the kitchen.

"Our first dinner together!" I kind of singed that.

"Oh, someone's excited." Derek exclaimed from behind.

I almost forgot that I am awkward.
