Chapter 16: Drama and Struggles

Liam's POV

Why? Why did she come back? Especially when my life became great. I found april, the lads and I are as close as ever, and I haven't had many problems on social media or with paparazzi. I mean, the paparazzi are here now, but that's because Eleanor, Riley, and Danielle are here. I want nothing to do with her. She tore my heart and smashed it, making sure every piece was broken. April has become a big part in my life. If I ever lost her, I would be blaming myself for not stepping up to ask her brother about us or not asking her out on a real date. Niall is one of my best mates, he would be okay with it right? Back to the problem at hand. Danielle freakin' Peazer is standing in the doorway of the front door with a grin on her face. I then hear the voice that gives me shivers and butterflies in my stomach.

"What the hell?" April says confused. I'm just as confused as her. Why is she here? How did she know we're here. I go and sit beside April because I feel uncomfortable standing just 7 feet away from her. April immediately grabs my hand when I sit down. I try to fight off a grin knowing why she did it. April was jealous. It was actually kinda amusing to watch. She was looking at Danielle with a blank expression. She just squeezed my hand tighter each time someone moved. I moved my thumb across her knuckles, trying to calm her down. She loosened her grip a little and seemed to relax. She closed her eyes while I keep running my thumb over her knuckles. She took a deep breath before opening her eyes again.

"Why is she here?"April asked. The boys just shrugged, just as confused as April was.

"Danielle's my friend. We had plans this weekend and I totally forgot about them, so I asked Niall if it was okay that I brought a friend. Is this a problem?" Riley asked nicely. Riley was actually really nice. She wasn't like Nialls last girlfriend. I never knew her and Danielle were friends though. She never mentioned Riley when we were dating and Riley never mentioned her either.

"I didn't know this was the friend. Baby, you have to tell me this stuff. Danielle is Liam's ex," Niall told her. Recognition showed on her face and her mouth formed an 'O' shape.

"You didn't tell me Liam was your ex. I'm sorry, Ni. I didn't know," Riley said. She's such a softie when it comes to Niall. It actually wants to make me vomit sometimes.

"It's okay baby. We do have some introductions to do though. And we need to prepare and extra room, I guess. April, you staying over tonight?" Niall's face had a pleading look on it. Did I mention he hated Danielle with a passion? He probably hated her the most. He hated that she crushed my heart. He's just as much as a softie as Riley.

"Let me tell Ryan. Do you mind giving me a ride to the apartment?" She asked me. She doesn't trust Danielle being here. She's so readable. I nod and stand up, dragging her with me.

"I'll see you in a few then. Your staying through Sunday, so pack for 2 days worth," Niall goes over and kisses her on the cheek. April nods before walking towards the door with me. I didn't miss the glare she gave Danielle and the smirk Danielle have her. I grab the keys and grab Aprils hand again.

"Li, can I have a piggyback ride?" She asks me with a pout. The boys laugh at her knowing she's as lazy as Niall. Which is very lazy. I squat down while she climbs on my back. She slaps my butt while telling me to go faster. "Come on Li!"

"April! Don't go around slapping peoples arse's," Niall tells her sternly. April looks over her shoulder and speaks back.

"Niall, he wasn't going fast enough," She whines. I laugh at her baby voice.

"Yeah, yeah. Just go before I change my mind and you can't stay," Niall rolls his eyes at her playfully. April gives him the finger before telling me to go. When we're out of the house, she gives my butt another slap.
