Nothing in this world made you happier than spending time with Ethan, that was for sure. You mostly looked forward to Tuesdays though. That was your date night. He and Gray would upload, and then you would plan the evening. For the past two months in a row, all you've done is go out for pizza or see a movie. That was great and all, and you loved those moments but you wanted to try something new. It was barely 2:00 and they had just uploaded the video for that week.
"Okay, so what are we doing today?" Ethan asks, plopping down on the bed beside you. You had taken Emmas advice and yelped a few places until you came across one that caught your attention. It was a different area than what he was used to and you wanted to see how he would act.
"How do you feel about going to an art museum?" You ask, showing him a quick slide show on your phone. He laughed some thinking you were kidding, you weren't.
"Wait, you seriously want to go to a museum....as a date?" He asks, reassuring himself.
"Yes E, we always do the same stuff over and over and I just want to try something new. I say we go and after an hour, if you aren't having fun, we can leave. Do we have a deal?" You ask, sticking your hand out toward him. He waited a moment, balancing the idea in his head.
"If you're happy, I'm happy. I'll give it a shot." He says shaking your hand. You showed him a few more photos, trying to excite him the best you could. "What do you even wear to an art museum?" He asks, looking down at his sweatpants and a blue t-shirt.
"Your shirt is fine, just change into some jeans or something more presentable than what you're wearing." You say, patting his thigh and standing up to get yourself dressed. You decided on a pair of cuffed denim boyfriend shorts, a white t-shirt, a pair of white birk sandals and your hair up in a bun. You had told Ethan to put on a pair of jeans, but instead, he came around the corner in his signature outfit; a black t-shirt and his infamous red shorts, with a pair of black socks and red converse to tie the look together.
"You ready to go?" He asks, making sure he has his wallet, keys, and phone, then put them in his satchel (I had to add it). You nodded and grabbed your purse, sliding in your own wallet and phone. Ethan ran off to tell Grayson you were leaving and gave you the keys to start his Jeep. You slid your sunglasses on and waited for Ethan. "Can you pull up directions please?" He asks, putting the vehicle in reverse and pulling out of the driveway. You did as he asked and went onto the maps app on your phone, then clipped it to the dashboard.
Your date night car rides were always pretty quiet. He had one hand secure on the steering wheel and the other holding your hand on the middle console. He would connect his phone to the aux and play his Spotify list, the two of you occasionally singing along. You loved your outings with him.
Before you knew it, Siri was announcing that your destination was on your right. While Ethan found an empty parking space, you took your phone off the clip and put it back in your purse. "Are you sure you want to go in?" He asks, clearly not wanting to spend the next hour looking at 'boring old art' as he put it earlier.
"I'm positive, and you already promised me you'd go." You remind, pecking his lips and getting out of the car, closing the door behind you. You waited at the front of the hood while Ethan whined from his seat about being hungry, even though he had eaten a burrito before you left the house, not even an hour ago. "I'm going without you." You tease and start to walk toward the entrance. You heard a car door slam and feet running in your direction before a giant hand enveloped your own. "Aw, you're so sweet." You laugh, seeing as you won.
