It was an odd request but ever since the breakup you haven't felt at all like yourself, so after taking some time and thinking it over you agreed. Agreed to be handcuffed to your ex-boyfriend, Ethan Dolan for 24 hours. Somehow you had convinced yourself that it would give the both of you closure, but that would be determined after the challenge was over. Luckily, the decision to split was mutual and you didn't hate each other. At the time you were both stressed with your jobs and had no time for a relationship which led to daily fights, and then the split. At the beginning of your relationship, you knew you'd end up falling for him, just by his charm, and you did. Even after the two of you were separated the feelings still lingered until you just quit coming around. So now that you were driving to his house to see him for the first time in three months, your heart wanted to leap out of your chest onto the dashboard.

You claimed your old parking spot in their driveway and got out, making your way to the front door. Two heavy knocks later and you were greeted by a smiling Grayson. He wasted no time in crushing you in a bear hug, making you laugh and realize just how much you had missed him. You hadn't only lost Ethan, but you lost him too, so being in his friendly embrace was a wonderful feeling. "Ethan wanted to take a shower before we started filming so he wouldn't smell." Grayson explains once he noticed you glancing around the room for the guy you once called your boyfriend. You nodded and sat down next to your overnight bag on the couch. Grayson sat with you and made friendly conversation while you waited, just catching up on each other's lives.

He was in the middle of telling you about a video idea he had been thinking about when your eyes were pulled away by Ethan entering the room. He dressed simply in a black t-shirt and grey sweat shorts. "Hey, you!" He grins, coming towards you with open arms. You smiled back kindly and stood up to hug him. "Long time, no see." You joke once you pulled away from the hug. "No kidding. How have you been?" He asks, running a hand through his darkened damp hair. "Busy," You state, for a lack of a better explanation, "you?" He let out a heavy sigh and shrugged, "Same old, same old I guess. Just recording videos with this idiot and trying to make people happy." He nods at Grayson who rolls his eyes. "Speaking of recording, we should get started. It's already 10:00 pm." Grayson interjects, showing you both the time on his phone.

You stood behind their cameraman, Josh (idk random name) and watched as they filmed their introduction. "I thought it would be fun to film a challenge video." Ethan begins, "But I also thought it would be a good idea to let Grayson choose the challenge." He finishes and looks toward his brother to explain the rest. "Okay! So I wanted to do something where I could laugh and not have to struggle. So what better way to do that than the 24-hour handcuff challenge?" He asks enthusiastically. "But he won't be cuffed to me. We have a special guest who some of you may remember from some of our older videos." He continues and motions you over to sit between them. "This is Ethan's ex-girlfriend, Y/N and they're going to be handcuffed together for a whole day which means they'll have to do everything together. Which sounds harsh, but it's no big deal. They're on good terms and both agreed, plus when they were together they were basically attached at the hip anyway so being stuck together for a day shouldn't be new to them." He finishes and grabs a bag from the floor, pulling out a shiny pair of silver handcuffs.

After deciding that the cuff would be on your left wrist so Ethan could drive, Grayson happily snapped them on and started the timer. "24 hours begins now! And I forgot to mention my favorite part about this whole challenge." He grins, leaning toward the camera. "I get to decide what they do and where they go and they have to do it." He says and cuts the video. "Okay here is your camera." He says, handing Ethan the camera attached to the tripod. "Okay, let's get this day started." I huff out, letting your trapped wrist hang beside me. You weren't sure how they were going to do things so you chose to just go with the flow and walk wherever Ethan led you.
