You were pushing through the crowded halls of your school, trying to make it to your science classroom before you were tardy again. You could see the door from the end of the hall and smiled wide, knowing you'd get there just in time.

Your smile faltered as your 'bully', Imogine slid herself in front of the door, blocking your path. For as long as you can remember, she hated you. There was never a reason, you were just an easy target, and apparently her favorite. "Morning y/n." She says once you reached the room. You tried to move around her, but she blocked your way by sticking her arm out. "Don't you know it's rude to ignore someone when they greet you?" She asks in a snotty tone.

"Good Morning Imogene. Can you please move so I can get to my seat?" You huff out, wanting her to leave you alone.

"Oh come on. What's the harm in having a little, before class chat?" She asks, knowing very well if she kept talking that you'd be late and have lunch detention again.

"Please move." You state again, too scared to look her in the eye. She rejected your request and shoved you back some.

"No." was all she said, checking the time on her hot pink watch. She smirked evily as the last bell rang, signaling that you now had lunch detention again for the third time this week. Even though she got what she wanted, she still stood in front of the door with a sly smirk on her lips.

"Imogene, let us go in." A male voice says from behind you. Your turned around the see one of the infamous Dolan twins with his bag swung over his shoulder.

"And if I don't? You have no power in this school Ethan, or Grayson whichever one you are. So just mind your own buisness." she asks, crossing her arms and challenging him with her words.

"I am minding my own buisness, this is my class. Now move so we can go in." He says again shooing her with his hand. She rolled her eyes and walked around you, bumping your shoulder with her own roughly, making you stumble back into him.

"Oh sorry." You apologize, composing yourself. He just smiled and opened the door for you, before following himself.

That was how years of school went for both of you. You never said more than a thank you for 5 years when anyone would pick on either of you and the other would defend them even on the streets after he left school. But that was close to two years ago. Now you were a Sophmore in college, going home to Jersey for Thanksgiving to be with family.

You were picked up from the airport by your Dad and younger brother. The second you saw their smiling faces you didn't hesistate to envelop both of them in a bone crushing hug. You hadn't see them since March for sping break. You pulled from the group huddle to hug each of them individualy. Your Mom had walked out on your family when you were 12 years old so after that the roles in the family were changed. Your Dad wasn't around a lot since he was working more to support you and your brother. You were in charge of making sure the house was clean, dinner was cooked and your brother was taken care of.

After the hugs and "I miss you's", they helped you take your things to your Dads car. You sat in the front and your brother sat in the back. The car ride was spent talking about how school was and what family was coming to the big thanksgiving feats being held at your childhood home. You were anxious to be in your old room, see your dogs, your cats, your bird and visit your favorite places while at home.

The moment you walked through the front door of your house you were greeted by loud barking and two dogs jumping at your legs. Honey and Winston. Honey is a Australian Sheppard and Winston is a Catahoula Leopard Dog. You got down to their level and loved on them before dragging your bags to your room. You dropped the luggage on your bed and saw your sky blue parakeet Sandy on her perch.
