"Ethan!" Y/N squeals loudly, shoving at her boyfriends' hands who had themselves connected to her sides, wiggling his long fingers."Stop!"
"Shh, you're going to make Gray mad." Ethan laughs quietly, removing only one of his hands to hold his finger to her lips.
"Please stop." She begs, trying to quiet her laughter and pressing small kisses to the pad of index finger. Ethan was so in love with this girl, had been since he was 16 years old, she definitely owned his heart.
He listened to her please and stopped his tickle fest, wrapping his arm around her waist and kissing on her cheeks lovingly. She hummed softly at his affection, loving him just as much.
"You're staying with me...right?" He whispers gently into the shell of her ear, not ever wanting to let go of his precious Y/N.
"I'll always be here E until you let me go." She responds, running her fingers up and down his arm in a comforting way.
"I'll never let you go."
Their peaceful moment was interrupted by a light knock and Grayson poking his head into the room. "You ready to go? The appointments in an hour but it takes a little bit to get over there so we need to leave."
Ethan sighs, heavily, detaching himself from her and sitting up in the bed. "Yeah, I'll be out in just a minute, let me get my shoes on."
"I'll wait at the door. See you in a little bit Y/N." Grayson waves with a sad smile and left the room. These were his least favorite days.
"Have a good day." She whispers softly from his bed, surrounded by the blankets that covered them only moments ago.
"I'll do my best, you'll be here when I get back....right?"
"If you want me to be." She promises, sitting up on her knees, puckering her lips. He took the invitation gladly and leaned down, connecting their lips and brushing his thumb over her jaw.
He'd rather be curled up with her all day, but he knew better than to argue with Grayson over this. It was important to his brother, important to everyone who knew what was going on...but not him. He liked the situation, Y/N did too, or at least she agreed with him.
After another goodbye kiss, he was out his bedroom door and meeting his brother at the entryway. "Ready?"
~
"I hate this shit." Ethan grumbles, following his brother into the all too familiar building he'd been in way too often for the last three months. Grayson stayed quiet, knowing better than to start an argument with him about it.
"Alright, I'll be out here," Grayson promises, relaxing in the waiting room chair and swiping a magazine off the table to flip through. "waiting."
Ethan rolled his eyes at what he thought to be a dramatic act and followed the route to the office. "Hi, Ethan!" The woman smiles, standing up from her desk and coming around to greet him properly with a hug.
"Hi, Doctor Tullis." He greets back, forcing a smile and accepting her hug.
"Alright, well let's not waste any time. Have a seat and we'll get started! Would you like something to drink?" She asks, grabbing the foam coffee cup from her desk and walking toward her chair.
"No thank you." He smiles kindly, taking a seat on the couch and pulling a pillow into his grip like he usually did.
"Alright, so I'll start asking you the normal boring questions, just to see where we are this week, okay?"
