A Special Moment Between Him And Your Child:

ETHAN:

You were in the kitchen making brownies for your daughters bake sale the next day. While mixing the batter you kept hearing muffled giggling and her talking inaudibly to someone. Assuming that Ethan was still taking a nap in your room, you walked up the stairs to see who she was talking to. The door was cracked which gave you easy access to spy into the room. You saw her walking from into your view, and the disappeared behind the door. She was talking in what you thought was an attempt at a British accent. "Would you like some tea?" she asks, whoever was at her table.

"Oh yes please." Your husbands' voice calls out.

"No Daddy. You have to say it like a girl." She says, correcting him. He cleared his throat and repeated the words in a squeaky high pitched voice, pleasing your little girl.

You pushed the door open some more to see the whole situation and ended up having to stop yourself from falling over in laughter. Ethan was still in his pajamas, crouched down in a little pink chair at a tiny white table with your daughter, a stuffed rabbit, and her American girl doll. You could tell by his eyes that he had just woken up, or got woken up.

But the best part was the fact that she dressed him for the tea party. On his hooded eyelids was a goopy sky blue eyeshadow, on his messy bed head was a sparkly green garden hat, and a fluffy orange boa was wrapped around his neck.

You snapped a secret picture of the moment and slid into the hall before they noticed. When you first gave birth to Ava, you didn't think Ethan would be the dress up in glittery fashion Dad. But she had him wrapped around all of her little fingers. You adored and cherished the moments they spent together. You loved your little family.

GRAYSON:

Being 6 months pregnant made you exhausted without a doubt, and on top of that, you were also raising a three-year-old boy who was a walking tornado. Lucky for you though, you weren't doing in alone. Your husband Grayson also followed around his mini-me and picked up the mess he left behind.

He had taken your son out for the day so you could get some rest at home. You were grateful for the few hours of sleep you got, but being pregnant also made you hungry. So you crawled out of the bed and waddled down the hall towards the kitchen. Thankfully when you got pregnant the first time you and Gray had decided on a small house with no stairs.

You heard the boys in the kitchen banging around pots and pans and every so often Grayson would say something and get a squealy response from your son. You walked in and instantly widened your eyes. "Mommy!" Your son yells from his seat on the counter, catching your husbands attention.

"Babe. It's not as bad as it looks, and I swear we'll clean it all up!" Grayson assures you. Your kitchen that was squeaky clean when you last saw it but it was now covered in homemade slime.

"Gray. Honey, I love you so much, but you can't make slime to save your life." You say, placing your hands on his shoulders and recalling all the times he'd attempted it before and failed. He just blushed and kissed your head.

You went and looked in the bowl sitting next to Lucas and admired the soupy like orange mixture. "Lucas, do you think Mommy should help us since she's such an expert?" Grayson asks him, his hands now clean so he could rub your belly like he loved. Your little boy, of course, agreed enthusiastically.

Challenge accepted. You loved your boys and loved spending the day making slime with them, even though you left the mess for Gray to clean up later that night.
