interview one // jd and veronica

Officer: I'm Detective Maureen Kelly, I just want to discuss the death of your son, Jesse.

JD: Alright.

Detective Kelly: Okay, for starters, Jesse was only your son. Correct, Mr. Dean?

JD: Yes, he was my son from a short term relationship with Tara Smith.

Veronica: Jesse always said I was his real mom.

Detective Kelly: Can you walk me through what happened the night Jesse died?

JD: Well, my wife and I went out at 7:00. We went to a restaurant.

Detective Kelly: What restaurant?

Veronica: Olive Garden. My favorite food is spaghetti, with lots of oregano.

Detective Kelly: Okay, continue.

JD: We ate dinner and desert, before leaving at 9:30. We drove home, which is a half hour drive. When we came home, Chloe wasn't home. She was out with her friends and boyfriend.

Detective Kelly: What are the names of the people your daughter was with?

Veronica: Finn Cromwell, that's her boyfriend, Bianca Miller and Lincoln Sanchez.

Detective Kelly, What happened when you got home?

JD: I went up to Jesse's room to talk to him. When I opened the door, I saw him in a chair. He was shot but there was a suicide note.

Detective Kelly: Then what did you do?

JD: We called 911 and then Chloe. We told her that Jesse had killed himself and for her to come home immediately.

Detective Kelly: And when Chloe came home, how did she react?

Veronica: She seemed in shock about it.

Detective Kelly: Okay, thank you Mr. and Mrs. Dean. That's all the information we need for now.
