Chocoholic... a healthy love story

Chapter 6

Isabella arrived at the company at 7.30 in the morning and made her way to the elevator. She got in and pressed the 9th floor. She checked herself in the mirror in the elevator and fixed her pony tail. She had paired her uniform with a pair of jeans and her sneakers. She got out of the elevator and made her way down the corridor towards Mrs. Alexis's office.
She was surprised to see Kal and his brother talking by his office and she had no other option but to walk passed them.

" Good Morning Mr. Dukas", Isabella said with a smile .

Only Adrian replied as Kal looked at her annoyingly.
She kept walking feeling embarrassed by the way Kal behaved. She didn't know what this guy had against her ,
" Gosh it was just coffee that was spilled on him and he is still holding that against me!", Isabella said as she hurried down the corridor and knocked on Mrs. Alexis's office.

She opened the door and as she walked in she caught a glimpse of Adrian still staring in her direction.

" Wasn't that the coffee girl?", Adrian asked his brother .

" Yes... Mrs. Alexis wanted me to help her out with a job so she will be working with my new assistant", Kal said as he went back to their previous conversation.

" But how come you have a pretty girl working on your floor?", Adrian said smiling.

" Adrian! Please we are discussing something serious here! Exactly why she is not working on your floor.. you get distracted too easily!", Kal said annoyingly and his brother could see he was not happy with him.

" So you do find her pretty!?", Adrain said mockingly.

" When did I ever say that? I don't hire someone because of their face , I do so if I see merit!", Kal said and his brother knew Kal was upset.

" Ok ok Kal calm down , I will set up a meeting today and talk about the new chocolates ideas to the advertising department and marketing department! Ok", Adrian said to his big brother.

" Yes , and I will be attending the meeting as well", Kal said as he patted his brother on his back and walked inside his office.

He was expecting his new assistant today and he was glad that he got someone from the company itself , she will just be moved from another department to work with him until Mrs. Alexis comes back to the company in a few months.
Someone knocked on the door , he said to come in and his assistant walked in.

" Good morning Mrs. Cora!", Kal said smiling.

" Good morning Kal. Thank you for choosing me to work with you, it will be a pleasure! Delia was happy to learn that I will be the one working with you!", Mrs. Cora said referring to Mrs. Alexis.

" Yes, she was. She must have mentioned I hired a young lady to assist you with anything you might need , so you will have more time to concentrate on the office work", Kal said as he picked up his office phone.

" Good morning Mrs. Alexis, may you please come to my office and tell Miss. Garcia as well", Kal said and then hung up the phone .

He was chatting with Mrs. Cora when there was a knock on the door and in walked Mrs. Alexis and Isabella. Kal looked at Isabella her T-shirt matched her eyes and when she looked at him and smiled shyly ,he quickly looked away and started to talk to his assistant and Mrs. Alexis completely leaving Isabella out of the conversation.

" You are in good hands! Now I can go on my trip knowing you have two very good assistants!", Mrs. Alexis said and Kal smiled.

It was the first time Isabella saw that man smiled and it only made his face beyond perfect!
She looked at his face as he continued speaking with a smile on his lips , she couldn't hear anything he was saying as if he had bewitched her with his smile and she didn't know how to get out of it!
