Chocoholic... a healthy love story

Chapter 21

Isabella hurried downstairs. It was Monday morning and she was late! They had people coming in for the big interview with Kal and she will have to be there .
Emma had gotten in late in the middle of the night and she will only see her at mid day. Even if she was off for a week from school she still went to work for a half day unless she was asked to stay longer .
She left a note for Emma on the table with loads of kisses and she hurried to the bus stop.

She missed the first bus as she curse softly when she saw the big bus driving away.
She saw a taxi coming and she waved at the taxi driver .

" Well even if I have to pay more ..I'm super late today", Isabella said as she got in the taxi and told the driver where she was going.

She kept looking at her watch as she was stuck in the traffic jam.

" Please hurry!", she said quietly as she played with her fingers impatiently.

When the taxi pull up close to the company it was almost past 8.30 and she hurried inside.
She tried not to run like a crazy person as she hurried to the elevator. She got in and pressed her floor number and checked herself in the mirror.
She removed the hair tie from her hair and let her hair down as it looked messy from all the running.
She ran a hand through her hair and fixed it up right before the elevator door opened.
She walked quickly to Mrs. Cora's office and found a note on her desk.

" I'm on sick leave, please attend to the list of items on my desk. I should be back by Friday", Mrs. Cora.

" Great! I'm sure this phone had been ringing since early morning and no one was in to answer!", Isabella said as she saw the message light blinking on the phone , she pressed it as she sat down at Mrs. Cora's desk.

" Miss. Garcia come to my office as soon as you get to the office!", Kal's voice echoed through the speaker of the phone and Isabella could feel the annoyance in his voice.

She grabbed a pen and her note book and hurried to Kal's office and knocked on the door.She heard him said come in and she walked in quickly ready to apologize for being late.She was about to speak to him when she noticed that he was on the phone , he signaled for her to sit down which she obeyed and sat down on the chair in front of his desk.

Isabella noticed that he looked more than handsome today he was looking like a movie star , he was well- shaven and he had styled his hair slick-backed showing his chiseled jaw lines and his tanned skin made him devilishly handsome!

Isabella took her time to admire his face , she ran an imaginary hand over his face , his jaw and finally his perfect lips which she had the chance to taste though for a brief moment.She almost chocked on her inner thoughts as she looked around the room taking in deep breaths.

She hoped that Kal didn't recognize what was going on with her. She was glad that he was still on the phone so she took the time to write the date in the notebook to keep her distracted.

" Well Miss. Garcia , you are late today?", Kal said as he hung up the phone.

" I'm sorry Sir.. just one of those days", Isabella replied trying not to look back at his lips.

" Well Mrs. Cora is sick ,so you will have to assist me when the reporters arrive for the interview and for the tour", Kal said getting up from his desk.

" Come with me , we don't have long", he said in an authoritative voice and Isabella just got up from the chair and followed him .

" I wonder where he is taking me", Isabella thought.
They actually walked back to her office and there was a lady waiting in her office with a clothes rack and Isabella wondered what was going on.
