Chapter 25

Isabella opened her eyes and looked at Kal . He was stroking her hair and she suddenly moved back.

" We can't do this... You are my boss.. and I .. I have a boyfriend and you have a girlfriend or fiancée.. I better leave!", Isabella said nervously as she turned to walk away wincing at the pain in her right ankle.

" You have a boyfriend!?", she heard Kal asked with a surprised tone .

She stopped walking and turned looking at him.

" Yes! And I don't think this is right...I", Isabella said trying to make her lie sound convincing .

" What is his name?", Kal asked catching her off guard.

" Uh.. his name is An.. Andy! I better go!", Isabella said walking away before he asked anymore
questions.

She had a feeling he knew she was lying about having a boyfriend, she was never a good liar!
Isabella walked out of the room , she closed the door and leaned against it  and took in a deep breath . She put a hand to her mouth and touched her lips softly as she smiled . She had never been kissed the way that Kal had kissed her tonight.Butterflies started to fly as she remembered the kiss .

Kal ran a hand through his hair and looked at the door , he didn't want her to leave . He hurried to the door and opened it so that he could catch up with her. Isabella was so lost in her thoughts that she nearly fell when Kal opened the door and he had to grab her by her waist.

" Do you always do this?! Lean against doors!", Kal asked as he tightened his hands on  her waist so she could regained her posture.

Isabella remembered the time at the office that she nearly fell and he had been upset at her for leaning against his door and told her to stop clowning around.

I always do something to embarrass myself around him!, Isabella said to herself.

" My ankle was hurting..", Isabella lied as Kal slowly removed his hands on her waist.

" Isabella, stay .. I mean let's have something to eat or have a drink  together. I promise only to talk....for instance I didn't know you had a boyfriend?", Kal said with a smile on his face.

Isabella knew he was making fun regarding the boyfriend that she invented but his invite was tempting .

" Well ok ..I'll stay for a little while but no drink for me ", Isabella said as she walked back in his room and she heard him lock the door.

Isabella walked out on the balcony and sat down on a chair and looked up at the beautiful sky.
Kal pulled a chair and sat opposite her and stared at her.He felt different around Isabella, like he belonged with her. He had been  tough on her because he wanted to make her to go away so that his mind would be at ease! Having her around wasn't easy as she destroyed his inner peace and turned everything upside down. Specially his feelings for Heidi which had slowly changed.

After being around Isabella and how his body had responded to her presence, he had often questioned himself if he was really in love with Heidi or it was because she was the type of woman that everyone expected him to date.Isabella turned and looked at him and smiled beautifully and he smiled back.

" You want something to eat?", he asked her.

" Well I'm kinda feeling hungry", Isabella replied with a smile .

Kal smiled at her and got up and walked inside, he called the room service and ordered some snacks for them .He remembered she said no alcohol and ordered some fresh juice instead.He walked out  to the balcony and saw her  standing by the balcony railing with her back turned to him.He stood there behind her and looked at her. He wanted to go up to her and ran his hand through her hair which was as black as the night.
" Admiring the view?", he asked from behind her.
