Chocoholic... a healthy love story

Chapter 33

Isabella sat on her bed with her legs crossed, she opened the chocolate box that Kal gave her and she smiled as she took out the heart shaped paper which he had written down the romantic message for her.
She had tried not to let what Adrian had said to bother her or change her mind.
She got up from the bed grabbed the box of chocolates and walked to Emma's room.
She knocked softly on Emma's bedroom door , her friend was busy looking through a pile of papers which looked like her notes from University .

" Em ,can I come in?", Isabella asked as her friend looked at her.

" Of course Isa! I know that look. It's the I've got something on my mind and I need your expertise advice ", Emma said and they both laughed.

Isabella sat down on the bed and offered Emma one of the chocolate from the box.

" Wow Christmas chocolates! And we are in November !", Emma said excitedly as she grabbed one and took a bite.

" OMG! This is a pure delight!! Gosh how lucky you are to be around these goodies!", Emma said as she took another chocolate shaped like a reindeer.

" Well don't think we get to see much of those around the office everyday !", Isabella replied smiling.

" Em, you know ..it's about me and Kal. He broke up with his girlfriend...", Isabella started to say when her friend stopped her as she looked at her in shock.

" Kal broke up with Heidi for you!? Isa then he must really like you!", Emma blurted as she gave her a broad smile.

" Emma , I want to believe so as well! But I'm a bit worried at the same time. He asked me to move in with him", Isabella said finishing her sentence with a soft tone.

Emma looked at her with her mouth opened and then she excitedly grabbed her hands .

" Isabella you see ! He does like you or even more... in love with you! OMG... I love it, so romantic !!", her friend said loudly .

Isabella laughed , trust Emma to cheer her up with her craziness!

" So when are you moving in with him?!", Emma asked anxiously.

" Are you tired of me already, you are in a hurry to get rid of me!", Isabella replied .

" Well secretly I've been trying to do that!", Emma said  and they both laughed.

" Honestly Emma , I don't want to rush anything", Isabella said grabbing a chocolate.

" Yup! I don't blame you. How does that song go? " You can't hurry love , you just have to wait..", Emma said singing to the lyrics of The Supreme.
Isabella joined her in singing the song as they stood up and danced on the bed.

A few days later ....

" Gosh , I said , I love spicy food but this one.. hmm", Kal coughed as he grabbed a glass of water trying to speak in between the sips.

" I told you the Mexican loves their spicy food!", Isabella said laughing as she watched him drinking the glass of water.

" Well now I know what they mean by "spicy food" !", Kal said trying to laugh but his mouth was still on fire from the taste of the spicy Mexican rice that Isabella was preparing for their first night together.

He leaned against the kitchen counter and watched her rushing around the kitchen preparing their dinner.

" Shall I open a bottle of wine?", suggested Kal .

" After I finish cooking, these needs my utmost attention", Isabella said looking at him smiling as she pointed towards the oven and lifting the bowl in her hands.
