Chocoholic... a healthy love story

Chapter 24

Isabella made her way to the reception, she didn't have a clue where the meeting was going to be held.
She looked around her , checking if she could see anyone from the company.

" Miss, are you from " Passion and Chocolate"?,
A young man who approached her asked.

" Yes", she answered smiling, she was relieved that someone who knew about the meeting had come to meet her.

She followed the young man across the reception and into a conference room.She thanked him as she took a seat closer to the exit door.Another door opened and Mrs. Augusta walked in and when she saw her sitting there she asked her to come over. Isabella walked over to her and she told her to follow her.

" The meeting has been moved. We are going to the restaurant close to the pool", Mrs. Augusta said.

Isabella smiled at her and followed her quietly.As they approached the restaurant her heart started to beat faster as she spotted Kal sitting with his back turned to her.He was laughing and Isabella was surprised to see him so laidback. She walked up to the others and greeted everyone and she took a seat at the table. Isabella took out her notebook and opened the laptop in case any information was needed from there.

She looked up and even if he was wearing sunglasses, she could see Kal was looking at her making her uncomfortable.She suddenly felt so hot and pour herself some water and took a sip from it.
She was glad when he started the meeting so that she could have something else to concentrate on instead of that man across from her!

As the meeting came to an end, everyone were happy with the outcome.They concluded the business deal with a toast and soon a shop with chocolates from " Passion and Chocolates" will open its doors in Milan.The plan was showed to them and the store would be a plus for the company.
Kal and the business man excused themselves and the other staffs stayed behind.

" Ladies and gentlemen, tomorrow we have to attend the cocktail party to the pre opening of the chocolate store. So take the time to roam around the beautiful Milan and we will meet tomorrow evening", Mr. Alec said.

He was one of the Directors in the Marketing Section. Everyone clapped and got up as they shook hands. Isabella remained seated ,she didn't know what to do. She wanted to leave and go back to her room.She didn't want to go far from the hotel in an unfamiliar city. She grabbed her things from the table and left unnoticed.She thought she would order something to be taken to her room and stay in.

As she laid in bed watching the television, Isabella felt bored . She checked her watch and it was past six . She could hear Emma's voice in her head .

" OMG Isa.. you were in Milan and you ordered room service and watching news channels!". She smiled as that thought and she decided that she will go for a walk by the pool and grab a drink at the bar.
She changed her outfit and put on a a pair of jeans and a T-shirt . It was a bit chilly outside so she grabbed her cardigan and left her room.

She was happy for the free WiFi so she could communicate with Emma . She had to send a message to her parents as well since she had traveled out of Greece to Italy. She put down her phone and took a sip on the strawberry mojito she had ordered.

" Is this seat taken?", a familiar voice asked and Isabella nearly chocked on her drink.

She slowly turned her face to look at him, as he grabbed a seat next to her . He was dressed casually and Isabella had to take in a deep breath as she looked at Kal .

Is it the alcohol? Or that guy keeps getting hotter?!, she asked herself as she looked at her cocktail glass and then at Kal again.

She quickly looked away as he turned to look at her. She hurried to drink her cocktail as they sat next to each other in silence.It was as if they didn't know each other.Kal watched as Isabella hurried to drink her cocktail and he was sure it was because she wanted to get away from him.
