Chocoholic... a healthy love story

Chapter 32

" Kal ! We are in your office!", Isabella said as Kal pinned her against the door as soon as she entered his office.

" I've missed you!", Kal whispered against her ear as he smelled her hair. He loved that smell of strawberry in her hair and she had let it down just the way he loved it.

" Kal we saw each other yesterday!", Isabella replied with a smile.

" I will be happier waking up next to you!", Kal said looking at her and Isabella saw the serious look in his eyes.

She suddenly got scared , was she ready for such commitment?! Moving in with a man, being with him everyday , no more crazy nights with Emma!

" What do you mean?", Isabella finally said after pushing those thoughts away.

Kal  kissed her on her forehead and then took her hand and they walked to the sofa in his office.
They sat down and Kal looked at her still with the serious look on his face.

" Move in with me Isabella", Kal said excitedly and Isabella just sat there looking at him blankly.

She didn't want to disappoint him , though she  wanted to jump with joy she didn't think it was the right time and plus she had all those thoughts going around in her head.

" Kal , I will love too, but I don't think it's the right time. You have just broken up with Heidi and I don't want her to hate me more than she already does !",Isabella said .

" You are right but after your exams I want you to come over . You owe me a Mexican dish!", Kal smiled at her and Isabella felt happy that he respected her choice.

Kal got up from the sofa and walked to his desk and came back with a glittery golden box and gave it to her.She looked at him and at the box , " May happiness be with you", it was written on the box.

" Oh my ! It's the chocolates for Christmas! They are ready!?", Isabella asked with excitement as she hurried to open the box.

Inside there was tiny chocolates in different shapes reflecting the joy of Christmas.She hurried to look for the little hidden message inside.
She found the little piece of paper and opened it,

" Though it's been a little while , I want you to know I have fallen head over heels for you",
Isabella read the message again and tears shimmered in her eyes.

She looked up at Kal and brushed away the tears.
Isabella stood up and put her arms around his neck and kissed him softly on the lips , she was scared of telling him how crazy she was about him . She was scared that she might wake up from this dream and everything will end.

" It's better you say it now. Who knows if you'll see tomorrow!", those were her mother's words whenever she had a fight with her brothers or her friends and had to apologize  and tell them she loves them .

" I'm head over heels for you too!", Isabella said as they looked at each other intensely.

Kal kissed her passionately . It was as if they were all alone in the world until a knock on the door brought them back to reality they pulled away from each other just before the door  opened and Adrian walked in .His smile faded when he saw them standing close to each other and Kal had one hand around her waist.He removed his arm and Isabella hurriedly grabbed her chocolate box and walked out of the office. She turned at the door and looked at him and smiled , he winked at her before she closed the door.

" My my my! No wonder you broke up with Heidi? Does she know about you and the new girl ?", Adrian asked as he sat down on the sofa putting the files in his hands on the coffee table.

Kal walked over to his desk and sat down and looked at his brother. He could feel the hint of anger in his voice and could see jealousy written all over his face.

" That's why you got upset whenever she was next to me! Isn't that so Kal?!", Adrian asked  sarcastically.

" Well Adrian I don't have anything to say to you regarding that. As for Heidi I will tell her myself , that is if you don't mind!", Kal replied.

" So Kal wants everything I've wanted! This company and that girl both are in your hands!", Adrian said looking to his brother as he clapped his hands.

" Adrian cut the bullshit! Don't refer to Isabella as the girl as if she is one of those girls you toy around with.If she had wanted you she would have been with you! And for this company, talk to our father or you haven't found the guts to do so?!", Kal asked .

He was upset with Adrian's behavior as he was acting like an idiot and he was making him annoyed.

" Anyways Kal . Good luck to you and Isabella. I came here to bring the documents for the new projects and to tell you that the pre sale of the Christmas chocolates is going well", Adrian said getting up from the sofa and walking away.

" Adrian", Kal called his brother's name , he stopped right before he opened the door and turned and looked at him.

" You are my brother. I love you and this company is not mine only it's for us . We need to make it work , together!", Kal calmly said .

Adrian looked at him and  forced a small smile and then he was gone.

" I just hope out of anger and jealousy he doesn't say anything to Heidi!", Kal said as he walked to the coffee table and picked up those files that were left there .

They had two important projects for next year which could make them top in the chocolate business and those documents had to be kept away safely so that they don't fall in the hands of their competitors.
He put the files in the vault in his office and walked back to his desk.

"I'll have a look at those later", Kal said sitting down at his desk.

Isabella put the chocolate box in her bag. She read the note over again and she stared at it dreamily.The door to the office opened and in walked Adrian.She didn't like the look on his face and for the first time she prayed that Mrs. Cora will hurry back .

" So you and my brother", Adrian said and Isabella didn't answer.

" Well Isabella, as a friend take care of your heart because Kal knows how to break those so easily! You know how many girls like you fell for him, only to have their heart broken! You are no match to Heidi. He will eventually go back to her", Adrian said and Isabella could feel the anger in his voice and she looked at him pretending she wasn't bothered about his spiteful words .

" Adrian, thanks for your advice, but I'm old enough to take care of myself. Now if you don't mind I have to work", Isabella said trying not to let her voice trembled.

Adrian looked at her , shook his head as he put a smirk on his face and walked away.
Isabella made sure he was gone then she got up and closed the office door that he had left open.

" What if he is telling me the truth?", Isabella said to herself .
