"What am I supposed to do?! On one hand, I have a boyfriend. On the other, I'm basically obsessed with Zach!" I groan loudly into my pillow.
"Sweet cheeks, how do you get yourself into these situations. I would kill for a guy to like me as much as both of your hoes do," Evan says through FaceTime.
He lightly brushes his brown hair while the beach can be seen from behind him.
"Oh my god! I told you, they are not my hoes!" I can't even stop myself from laughing at that.Evan cackles at me.
"Okay. But still. If you had to choose, would you go to the beach with Tristan or would you want to go to the lake again with Zach?" he asks me, staring at me through the screen.
I guiltily say, "Zach."
"Then obviously you should be with Zach." I groan loudly in frustration.
"I don't want to hurt Tristan though!" Evan chuckles through the screen. I look at him with narrowed eyes.
"What?"
"Give him to me. He's sweet and charming and handsome from all the stalking I've been doing online." I roll my eyes playfully. "I'm pretty sure he's straight."
"But is that confirmed?" I laugh loudly.
"Shut up," I playfully tell him. I sigh into the pillow I'm holding. Everything goes quiet, except the cawing of seagulls in the background.
"I miss you, Ev," I finally say, gazing at him from past the pillow. It hurts my heart to say that. I don't know why but it just does. He eyes upturn to me; they're sad.
I can hear Evan sigh too. "Me too, Mars. As soon as I get back, we are settling in for a Netflix marathon."
I smile brightly. "Yes! We can feel fat while eating ice cream together!"
We laugh loudly before Evan's cousins come onto the screen.
"I've got to go, Mars. Love you."
"Love you too."
The last thing I hear is "Ooooh! Evan has a girlfriend!"
I laugh to myself. I really do miss him a lot.
But now I have to make a decision.
Tristan or Zach?
