I snuggle into Evan as the Queer Eye special of Nailed It plays on the tv. I shovel a bunch of popcorn into my mouth as Evan chuckles next to me. I smile.

Evan's phone beeps loudly. We both divert our attention to it.

Evan reaches over and unlocks it in a haze. He's still slightly paying attention to the tv.

I watch his movements, and as soon as his eyes widen, I know something wrong or something exciting has happened. He turns toward me, frowning deeply.

"What?" I ask, crawling my way up his body to peek at his phone.

All that leaves my mouth is a strangled breath.

What did I expect?

It's a picture of Zach cuddled around that same girl I caught him with. It's not even my place to say anything, but god I feel so heartbroken. And I'm not even his girlfriend.

"When was that?" I whisper

"Looks recent, with his haircut and all." Evan frowns.

Before I know it, the tears come crashing down. Evan curls his arms around me, holding me tight to him.

But as much as I want to forget him, I can't forget how magical that night was or how I felt so happy and beautiful when I hadn't in the longest time. I angrily sob into Evan's shirt, trying my hardest not to punch something.

Evan pulls me away from him, a serious look on his face. I sniffle loudly, confused.

"You and I are going to march right on over to him and beat the shit out of him. He doesn't deserve someone as amazing as you at all!" Evan shouts as I laugh at him. He lowers his eyes to me, a smile stretching across his lips.

"I would rather not get arrested... Ugh." I groan. Frustrated, I throw myself against the couch. I close my eyes, hurt radiating from my heart.

Suddenly, an idea strikes my head. I turn to Evan with a big smile on my face. He looks at me confusedly.

"I have an idea."
