Evan gets back today and I couldn't be happier. It's been a whole week.

Nothing from Tristan.

Barely anything from Zach.

But everything from Evan.

I've told him the whole situation while shaking and crying in my bed through text. And because I don't like crying over FaceTime, my brothers have been trying to cheer me up in place of Evan.

Especially Jesse. I can hear him yelling into his phone, yelling about how Tristan shouldn't have treated me that way.

But it's not his fault. It's all my fault that we broke up.

I was the one that snuck off with Zach. I willingly wanted to hang out with Zach more than Tristan. It's all my fault.

I groan into my pillow.

Suddenly, I feel a heavy body plop on top of me. I turn over and immediately go to hug him.

"You're back! I missed you so much!" I bury my face into Evan's neck, inhaling his very distinct citrus smell. He laughs at me as he wraps his arms tightly around my body.

"I missed you too, sweet cheeks. Now, I feel like you're in need of some serious Netflix therapy," he says as I sigh into his hoodie.

"Yep."

"Target run!" I laugh into him before Evan picks me up and marches me out of the house.

"Finally in a good mood," Jesse comments. I give him a bright smile.

The drive to Target is filled with newly made inside jokes and a lot of music.

I climb into the shopping cart as Evan pushes me around. He dumps a box of popcorn onto my lap and a liter of Coca Cola. We zoom around the store.

"Look at this sweatshirt!" It's a pastel pink with nothing else on it.

I look at Evan the same time he looks at me.

"We have to match." Evan quickly agrees with me, dumping two XL sweatshirts onto me.

We're both smaller than XL but we both love oversized sweaters.

We pay and I sadly climb out of the cart. "Marla!" I turn to see Tristan with his friends. He gives me a sad smile, but a smile nonetheless.

I smile back at him. "Beach at 12 tomorrow!" I give him an exaggerated nod.

"Okay!" I shout back before he waves goodbye and enters Target.

"Looks like you've got plans. But right now, we are going to fall asleep on the couch and let Disney movies play in the background." I nod and sigh into Evan's arm.

"I love you so much, Ev," I murmur.

"I love you too."
