the next week you asked me out to dinner again.
we went to a fancy restaurant. and you looked so handsome that night.
we talked for hours and hours.
i felt like i was falling deeper and deeper.
then they announced that people could get up and dance. they played music and i saw a whole bunch of women dragging their boyfriends to the dance floor. more and more started joining.
you got up with a smile on your face and took my hand.
i was scared.
"we're two guys," i said.
you only smiled wider and said, "so?"
that made me so happy.
we danced and danced and danced. it was so fun.
then the song slowed down and you pulled me close.
your forehead was on mine. my heart was pounding. i felt people staring but i didn't care.
your face was so close.
you licked your lips.
my heart raced faster.
then you leaned in.
and you kissed me.
and i kissed back.
i don't think i've ever felt happier.
