the strum of your guitar brought a smile to my face as i tossed a salad in the kitchen, that deep voice seeming to float through the air.
"holding me closer than we've ever been before
this ain't a dream
you're here with me
boy, it don't get no better than you."
i glanced over my shoulder at you, meeting your smile as your head bopped along to the rhythm.
"for you, i wanna take my time
all night
i wanna love you in every kind of way
i wanna please you, no matter how long it takes."
subconsciously, i started swaying with the song, the smooth rocking of the boat putting me at an even greater ease. i heard the guitar stop playing and felt your arms wrap around me.
"if the world should end tomorrow, then we only have today."
i put down my kitchen utensils and leaned against your chest, bathing in your warmth as we continued swaying along with your smooth singing.
"i'm gonna love you in every kind of way."
you whispered the last line in my ear as i turned to face you. our lips met in a passionate kiss, my heart bursting with pure happiness.
"if the world did end tomorrow, i wouldn't mind one bit." i said, leaning my forehead against yours.
your velvety voice sent tingles down my back."me too, kookie. but only if i get to die with you."
i blushed a deep red. "then we'll die together."
you smiled and leaned down to capture my lips in another sweet kiss.
"of course."
