"this is my boyfriend, jungkook."

you had introduced me to your friends, kim namjoon and kim seokjin. they had just been married and they were very kind. i liked them a lot.

"it's nice to meet you," namjoon said. he had nice dimples.

"yah, taehyung, you disappear for three years without contacting us and having us worry, but you end up being in hawaii this whole time? i'm so glad namjoon and i chose this as our honeymoon spot." seokjin said. his beauty was almost blinding.

i didn't say much as you conversed with the couple. i only smiled and nodded. i wasn't very good at socializing.

"hey, after our stay in hawaii, we're heading over to san diego. wanna join? your boyfriend can come, too." namjoon asked.

you hesitated and glanced at me. i didn't say anything and instead, played with my food. but deep down i wanted you to say no. that you wanted to stay with me. that we were happy here in hawaii and didn't need to go anywhere. i thought that you would know.

but instead you turned to them and said "yes."

i almost broke my fork.

"but jungkook and i would like to sail there. it's only 4,000 miles from tahiti to san diego right? should be easy enough." you said smiling as you looked at me, excited.

i smiled back.

i could never say no to that face.
