Knocking on the wooden classroom door with a shaky hand is probably one of the worst things I've had to do. Soon a the door opens to a thin, blonde lady with a kind smile, "Can I help you?" She asked sweetly "Miss. Weeks? I'm supposed to be in your class." I look up at her and smile slightly. "Come on in." She walked to the front of the room and motioned for me to follow. I let the door shut softly behind me. "You can sit behind Otto. Raise your hand, Otto." She told me. I watched the boy in the back raise his hand up and I quickly found myself in the seat directly behind him. He turned and smiled a gorgeous smile at me before turning his attention to Miss. Weeks.

After a week of listening to Miss. Weeks' sweet voice lecturing us about American Romanticism had me kind of dosing off. I felt a small touch on my elbow, but I didn't move. "hey," a soft voice said in my ear. I looked up and was met with big brown eyes, "You fell asleep again," Otto told me with a small smile. "Oh, thanks," I rubbed my eyes and yawned a bit. "No problem, Sleepyhead." He chuckled. "Hey, do you possibly want to sit with me at lunch tomorrow?" Otto asked, a slight blush creeping on his cheeks. "Uh totally. Where should I meet you?" I asked. "In front of the library, I sit with Awsten Knight and Geoff Wigington." Otto said, putting his binder back in his bag. "Okay, cool. See you tomorrow, Beanie Boy." I smiled as I slung my backpack over my shoulder and headed for the door.

Shutting my locker, lunchbag in hand, I made my way to the library hall. I saw a tall boy with faded purple hair, standing next to Otto, both in front of a taller boy with shaggy brown hair and striking blue eyes. I walk up behind Otto and poke his side, to which he jumps a bit, "hey, Beanie Boy."  I smile as he blushes a bit, "Hey, Sleepyhead. I thought you had forgotten about sitting with us." He admitted and I shook my head, sitting down and looking up at the three boys standing around me. "I mean, I sit by myself every other day so having at least one friend so far is nice." I told Otto as they sat down, creating a small circle. "Well, now you have three." Otto smiled brightly, motioning to the other two sitting with us. "I'm Awsten. We've been hearing a lot about you since you moved to Houston," the purple-haired boy told me with a smile. "I'm Geoff," the third boy said with a small wave. I nodded as they introduced themselves before following suit.

"So, where did you move from?" Geoff asked, I swallow the bite of sandwich in my mouth before answering him. The boys nod as I continue, "We moved here when my dad got the job." I told them, taking a chip out and popping it into my mouth. "Oh cool. Will you sit with us tomorrow too?" Awsten asked as we stood up to go to class. "You guys want me to?" I cocked an eyebrow. "Totally, it'd be sick to have you as a friend." Awsten replied, "Sure then." I smiled and began to walk in the direction of my next class. "Hey, wait, I can walk you to class." Otto called as he caught up to me, I smiled up at him "Sounds good to me."

Otto walks to the computer room with me and we stand outside, cracking jokes and laughing. He has a contagious laugh. He's a sweetheart. Only a few days in Houston and I'm already developing a crush, oh god. I wave bye as Otto walks in the opposite direction. I notice familiar purple hair and walk up to Awsten. "I didn't even notice you were in here too." I tell him as i sit down next to him. "Oh shit, hey." He chuckles. That class was a lot easier to stand with Awsten in there with me.  The bell rang and I headed for the door as quickly as I could. Getting into the hallway, I see the beanie I've come to enjoy. "Hey," says Otto "I can take you home if you would like." He offers his hand for me to take, I take it carefully in mine and intwines his fingers with mine as we make our way to the front of the school. "That'd be cool." I tell him, making our way to the parking lot.

Giving directions to Otto was like giving them to a dog. Finally, we have it to my driveway, "You can come in if you want." I tell him before opening my door. Otto turns the car off and hops out with me. I lead us to my front door, unlocking it and standing in front of the screendoor so Otto can walk in. "So, I think I have something to tell you." Otto says to me as we settle into the couch. "Oh yeah? What's that?" I look at him curiously "I think I like you, Sleepyhead." He blushes deeply. I give him a wide smile as I pull him closer, "I think I like you too, Beanie Boy." Otto smiles as his hand find the back of my neck and pulls me into a kiss, "Good," he mumbles against my lips.
