Everything was kind of sucking the last few days. I didn't want to do anything, see anyone, or even talk to anyone. I had so many missed messages and phone calls. So many voicemails I've yet to open. I just did not want to be bothered by anyone. However, as soon as Geoff's face showed up on my screen, all of that went away. "Hello?" I answered quickly "Hey, do you want to come out with me and the guys?" He asked and my smile quickly faded. "Uh, I'm not really feeling too well, actually. Rain check?" I furrowed my brow, even though he couldn't see it. "No way. I just want to see you to be honest." He admitted quietly "Then come over. I don't really wanna go anywhere. I'm insanely tired." I tell him, sitting up in bed and leaning against the headboard. "Okay, fine. I can do that." He says, sighing before going quiet. "Hey," I said softly "I love you." It took him a moment to answer, "I love you too, see you later, okay?" He says "Okay." Is all I can say before the line goes dead.

Taking a look in the mirror, I decide I need a shower and to clean up the house a bit. I gather up my phone and charger, heading into the bathroom. You'll be fine by Palaye Royale comes on first, 'Yeah, I don't think so guys.'  I think to myself as I step into the shower. Still standing in the shower, I wrap the towel around my head and step out. Heading to my room, I mentally try to plan my outfit and once I'm fully in my room, I quickly find the clothes and get dressed. Things lay on the floor around me and I shake my head. 'I can't believe I let it get this far.' I think aloud to myself as I began picking up my apartment.

A faint knock against my door grabs my attention as I'm putting dishes away so I set the bowl down and go open the door. It swings inward to reveal a smiling Geoff. "Hi sweetheart." He says, kissing my temple before coming inside. "Hi!" I say excitedly as I hug him from behind. He chuckles and pulls my arm so I'm standing in front of him, holding my hands in his. Geoff's face is serious and he looks deep into my eyes. "Baby, are you okay? You've barely been talking to anyone, even me lately." His brow furrows in concentration, waiting for my answer. I break eye contact as tears start to well up. Geoff pulls me into a tight hug, rubbing my back as I sob into his shirt.

I pull back and look up at Geoff, tears still running down my cheek, "I'm so sorry. I know I should let you know what's going on with me because you're not always here to check in on me and I'm just really sorry I haven't been doing that recently," I start rambling, only stopping to catch my breath. Geoff, wiping my cheeks with his thumbs, cuts me off before I can start talking again, "Hey, hey, hey. It's okay, love. I know things get really hard sometimes. I know. It's okay." He pulls me against his chest and strokes my hair, calming me down a bit. "I'm so sorry, Geoff." I sniffle into his chest. "Princess, it's okay. Just look what you've done with the place. You cleaned and that's an accomplishment." He smiles and gestures toward the kitchen and living room.

Pulling me to the couch, Geoff slings his arm over my shoulders and rubs my arm. I rest my head on his chest, turning on the t.v., "Can we watch a movie now?" I ask, flicking through the channels. "No, we're going out." Geoff takes the remote from my hand and turns the television off again. "Why?" I sit up and look at him. "Because, you need your mind off of things and being out of the house for a while might help. Let's go." He says, standing and holding his hand out for me to take. Grasping his hand, I shake my head with a smile and stand up. "Where are you going?" I ask as he locks my door. "That's for me to know and for you to find out in a bit." He laughs.

Pulling into the parking space, I finally look up from my phone and gasp. "Geoff! Really?!" I gape up at the building, Geoff chuckles, "Yeah, come on." He says as we get out and he walks around to grab my hand, intertwining our fingers. I hop around excitedly, holding onto Geoff's arm, while standing in line. "We came here for our first date and now it can be our go-to when you're sad." Geoff told me, gathering the tokens for the arcade. "That sounds really great, babe!" I say, already running to the skeeball area. Geoff comes up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist, "Do you feel any better?" He rests his chin on my shoulder, "Yeah, I do! Thank you so much." I tell him, kissing his cheek.
