Walking the halls with my blue and white cheer uniform, my face has white and blue dots painted on it along with a smile. I laughed as my friend Rebecca told me a joke she heard in her math class. I waved at her as we walked in different directions, me heading to English. I walked into the classroom and smiled at the kid who sat next to me, Geoff. "Are you going to the game tonight?" I asked him, Geoff shook his head shyly. "You should! It'll be so much fun." I gushed at him and his face turned a bright red. "I don't know, I don't really do that stuff." he admits as we settle down, ready for class, "You should at least come support the cheer squad." I told him as we opened out books.

Us cheerleaders walked into the gym with the football boys and set up for our routine. We waited for the band to start playing as the student body filled the bleachers then we hoisted Kenzie up in the air and she filled then fell into our arms as Carly did the same with the other bases. We finished our routine and waved as the students cheered and clapped. My eye caught Geoff's and I smiled at him as I took my spot against the wall. The pep assembly went really well and everyone left with smiling faces, holding small noise makers.

As I climbed onto the cheer bus, I locked eyes with Geoff and smiled, prompting him to smile shyly back at me. I cheered along with the girls as we joked and laughed together with Miss. Weeks. We listened to throwback pop jams, Hannah Montana, Ke$ha and various Disney/Nickelodeon theme songs. Eventually, our song session came to an end and we hopped off the bus, ready to cheer on our boys. I followed the girls to our side of the field and practiced our routines and cheers.

Soon, students filled the stands and the guys were on the field, playing their hearts out. We took a small break between cheers and I was leaned against the fence, taking a drink of water when I heard a soft voice call my name. I turned and instantly smiled, "You made it!" I exclaimed as Geoff hugged my shoulders over the fence. "I had to see what the buzz was all about." He chuckled, "I'm glad you could make it. You'll have a blast!" I told him as I grabbed my pompoms and got into position for another cheer.

Our boys won, 36 to 17 and we cheered as we followed the football team off the field and to the bus. I smiled as a familiar boy was standing against our bus, smiling at me. "What're you doing over here so far from your friends?" I asked with a smirk. "I wanted to see if a special someone wanted to come grab something to eat before I take her home." Geoff said, fixing my crooked bow on top of my head. "Is that special someone me, by any chance at all?" I blushed as he replied with, "Sure is, gorgeous." and a smile. I looked back at Miss.Weeks and waved, "I'll be going home with him." I told her as Geoff grabbed my hand and lead me to his car.

We walked up to the ice cream place and went inside, "Can I get a small frozen yogurt twist cone, please?" I asked and the girl behind the counter nodded. "I've got this," Geoff said as he noticed me patting my skirt for my money. I shook my head but he was already receiving change when I got my bills out. I blushed as we found a booth to sit in, "You really are so pretty in school spirit." Geoff stated with a small smile. I blushed an even deeper red, "Thank you. You don't look too bad in blue and white yourself." I smiled and pushed a bit of hair over my shoulder. "I really like you, Y/N." Geoff admitted after a moment just us eating away at our ice creams. "I think I really like you too, Geoff." I nod with rosy cheeks and a smile. "Let's let this be our first date, yeah?" Geoff suggested. I agreed and grabbed his hand, "You're really great, thank you for the ice cream." I tell him. "Don't mention it, just agree to another date." He laughed as I nodded in agreement.
