I just wanted a quiet place to read my book, that's it. I would've had that if the boys hadn't come home early from recording. They burst through the front doors and I retreated to Emerson's bedroom, only to have Sebastian waltz in, claiming he had to use Emerson's bathroom because the others in the house were full. Sighing and putting my book on the desk, I walk out into the living room with the others. "There she is," Emerson said, wrapping an arm around my waist and dramatically bending me backwards to kiss my lips deeply. I smiled against him and took his hat, shielding our intimate moment from his brother and band mate.

Emerson pulls me up and keeps his arm around my waist, pulling me into his side as he takes his hat from my hand and places it gently onto my head. I smiled up at  him and laughed loudly at his goofy smile. "Alright, love birds, you just saw each other this morning." Sebastian said, putting an arm around our shoulders. "Go fuck yourself Seb, maybe once you find someone you actually love, you'll feel this way too." I shoved him off and sat next to Remington on the couch under the window, Emerson sitting on the arm of the couch.

"Let's go do something." Emerson said, standing up. "Like what?" I asked, looking up at him. "I don't know, maybe go to the new taco place downtown." He scratches the back of his neck, looking at me. Remington looks over and chimes in, "Yeah, that sounds fun," Emerson and I look up at him, "We didn't say you were going with us." I told Remington sassily. So we compromised.

Piling into the car with Remington, Sebastian and Daniel was hard enough, but Remington wanted me to move my seat up so his lanky limbs could fit.I sighed and rolled my eyes, lurching the seat forward, I looked at Remington in the backseat, "Is that better, Mr. My-Limbs-Are-Too-Long-For-Everything?" I asked, "Yes, actually, Miss. Sassy-About-Every-Fucking-Thing." He smiled cheekily and I huffed, turning in my seat. I payed attention to Emerson rubbing his thumb over my hand as he drove with the other hand. He pulled my hand up to his lips, leaving a small kiss before lowering our arms back to their original position.

Pulling into the parking lot was a bigger relief than it should have been. Watching the guys crawl from the backseat and walk toward the doors of Locos Tacos was quite humorous, actually. I looked over at Emerson, "Do you think we should get out and join them?" I asked, nodding my head in the direction of the taco place with the guys waiting inside. He shrugged, "I guess so but after this," Emerson told me before placing a hand at the back of my neck and pulling me into a long kiss. "I love you," he says after pulling away from me and unbuckling his seatbelt. "I love you more, Sunshine." I smile at him as we get out of the car.

Emerson grabs my hand and locks our finger as we get inside the doors and walk over to the table the others had already gotten. "About fucking time!" Sebastian slams his hand on the table, the smell of liquor from his breath and the drink sitting in front of him is pungent and burns my nostrils. I decide I'll sit between Emerson and Remington. At this round, corner booth, the order goes: Sebastian at one end, Daniel next to him, then Remington, me and finally Emerson at the other end. I sip on my Sprite while the boys drink beer and margaritas as we munch on chips with quéso and salsa before we order our food. I tell the nice waiter what the guys are so desperately trying to drunkenly tell him. I laugh as Sebastian leans over onto Daniel and sings loudly in his ear.

Our food gets to the table and it's steaming, but the boys are stupidly hungry and trying to scarf it down as quickly as possible. I shake my head and eat my food, picking at Emerson's here and there. "Oh, it's all gone." Daniel says, looking at his plate sadly, making the rest of the table burst into hysterics. "Alright, it's time to get the rowdy crowd home. Come on, let's get going." I push Emerson out of the booth and stand, making each drunken male walk in front of me. I take the keys from Emerson and start the car. I look into the back, making sure Remington, Sebastian and Daniel all buckle up then reach over and help Emerson buckle his seatbelt.

I throw the front door open, all the pups running up happily to us. Sebastian trips over them both, as I shut the door, and mumbles something about leaving him there as I help Remington up the stairs to his room. Daniel lays on the couch, the large, golden retriever laying on the floor in front of him. I make sure Emerson's good and in our bed before going back to Sebastian in the entry way. I shake my head and pull his body up so I can wrap his arm around my shoulder. After struggling with going up the stairs, I decide he can just sleep on the other couch and pull him down the first few steps we made it to. Getting to the couch, I flop his sleeping body onto it and cover him up with the throw blanket that was folded over the back.

I finally make it into Emerson's room and change into my pajamas. Crawling into bed with Emerson, he wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. I smile against his chest and try to sleep. As I'm drifting off to sleep, I hear someone throwing up in the upstairs bathroom. 'This is going to be a long night.' I think as I throw the blanket off myself and head up there to help Remington.
