Happiest Boy in the World | a.k.

     Awsten laughs loudly at my joke as we walk out of Five Guys, I smile at him as we walk to the car. "Awsten, you're so cute." I tell him, "Thank you, thank you, I try." He smiles over at me as we buckle our seatbelts. "Are we going back to my brother's?" I ask, looking down at the text from Otto. "Yeah, we can." He says as we pull out of the parking lot. I quickly text Otto back, telling that we are, in fact, heading back to his house. On the rest of the car ride, Awsten and I jam and dance to lots of songs, singing loudly and probably looking like crazy people.

   Opening the door to my brother's house, his poodles start barking until they come within eyesight of Awsten and I. Bending down, I pet Lily and picking her up as Godfrey comes bounding up to me. "Hi buddies!" I exclaim and pet his head too, "Oh, hey guys." Otto comes into the entry way, Grace following him. I put Lily back on the floor and hug my brother and Grace. "What did you guys go do?" Otto asked, taking us into the living room. "We went to have lunch at Five Guys," I tell Otto and he nods. Grace giggles, "so you went on a date?" She asks, pulling her knees to her chest on the couch.

    Awsten and I look at each other, "I guess you could call it that." Awsten says out of nowhere and I'm taken aback but go with it. "You guys should really get together, like officially." Grace continues. Again, Awsten and I look at each other, this time with evident blushes. "Grace, I came here for a good time and I honestly feel so attacked right now." I say, causing the four of us to burst into laughter. 

   An hour later, we're saying goodbye to my brother and his girlfriend, Grace yelling at us: "you should really take into consideration what I said!" I shake my head, smiling as I climb into Awsten's car. "She's fucking crazy." I say with a chuckle and Awsten agrees. "I don't know, I think maybe we could try it." He says, nonchalantly shrugging. My face turns hot immediately and I look at him in shock, "Awsten, do you mean-" He cuts me off, "Yes, I want you to be my girlfriend." He chuckles, looking at me quickly before looking back at the road. "Uh, I'd love to be." I tell him as we hit a red light and stop. "Good, I can finally do this," he says before leaning over, taking my face in his hands and pressing his lips to mine. I smile against him but we're cut short when a car honking pulls us away from one another. I smile and bite my lip, looking out the window in awe.

    "Hey, look." Awsten says, I look over and smile as he takes the picture of us sitting on his couch. "I'm posting it to Instagram." He tells me, tapping away at his screen. My phone dings and I go to the photo I was just tagged in. "This one makes me the happiest boy in the world."  Awsten captioned the photo, I smile brightly as I comment, "And I'm the happiest girl in the world <3"  I  giggled as Awsten the comment and liked it with a smile. He looked over at me and pecks my lips as he wraps his arm around my shoulders and pulls me against him. 

   We're pulled apart by Awsten's phone ringing. "It's Geoffrey." He says, answering the phone and putting it on speaker, "Helloooo," we say at the same time. "What the fuck? How long having you been fucking Otto's sister, dude?" Geoff's voice says in a playful tone. "Uh, almost a month now." I tell Geoff, laughing softly "Why was I not told?" He questions. Awsten and I give each other a look, "Listen bud, if you want the details of our sex life, just ask." Awsten says with a shit-eating grin. "Nevermind. Just keep me in the loop next time." Geoff laughs and hangs up. "That went better than expected." Awsten said with a laugh.
