I'm Stuck | s.d.

       I walk up the stairs and into Sebastian's room, "Hey babe, it's time to get up. We have stuff to do today." I sit on my side of the bed, Sebastian groans and wraps his arms around my waist, resting his head on my stomach. I run my hand through his hair, "Yeah, we have to go to the salon, we need to go grocery shopping and we need to go by the new ice cream place in the mall." I told him, still stroking his hair softly. "I don't think the ice cream place is a 'need to', more of a 'want to' if you ask me." He says, smiling. "Good thing I didn't ask." I shake my head with a smile. "Now, come on. Let's get dressed and head out for the day, Seb." I pat his back and he rolls off and out of the bed. 

     I smile as we walk into the salon, I tell the lady I just need to fill my nails and she leads me over to a chair, Sebastian sitting in the empty one next to me. "You're lucky I love you so much because nail salons stink." He tells me with a sour look on his face. "Luckily I love you more." I smile cheekily up at him. "Hm, not possible, my love." He hums as he leans down to kiss my puckered lips. "You guys are so adorable." The girl doing my nails says to us, causing me to blush deeply, "thank you," I smile at her. "How long have you been together?" She asks, moving on to my next hand. "Three and a half years." Sebastian answers for me, "Wow, good for you guys." She says with a genuine smile.

     "Let's go get ice cream before groceries, yeah?" Seb asks, kissing the back of the hand he's holding with his free one. The other causing the car to turn into the mall parking lot. "Sounds amazing to me, dearest." I tell him as he parks. We walk around the mall for a bit, Seb taking pictures with a few kids along the way. "Over there." I point, "Good eye Jack." Sebastian laughs and I playfully push him sideways. We walk inside and it smells of sweetness and joy. Sebastian wraps his arm around my waist as we stand in line all the way until we get out ice cream. As we walk back to the car, we eat the creamy deliciousness. "This is really fucking good." I say, shoving another spoonful in my mouth. Sebastian laughs as he throws his cup in the garbage can we passed by before we get to the car. I stop for a second, taking my last bite and throwing the cup away. I get in the car and look at sebastian, "Off to the grocery store my trusty steed." I smiled and kissed his cheek as he chuckled.

      We pull into the parking spot and finish dancing to Journey, laughing loudly. We get out of the car and lock hands as we walk up to the doors and into the store. Going to the cart area and grabbing one, turning to talk to Sebastian but don't him. "Babe," I hear from behind me "look what I can do." He smiled at me and I burst into laughter, doubling over and falling to my knees. "Sebastian, baby, I fucking love you." I said, wiping tears from my face with a smile. He tried climbing out but I stopped him, "No, we're using this one. Stay in there." I told him, starting to push the cart.

    After receiving odd looks from everyone in the store, the guy at the register didn't even make eye contact with us. I laughed as I swiped my card, paying for the things in the cart and pushing it away. "Hey, uh, we have a problem." Sebastian said with a straight face. "What?" I asked, not looking at him and grabbing the last bag out of the cart and putting them in the car. I turned to Sebastian has he spoke again, this time sounding kind of strained, "I'm stuck." He looked up at me. I laughed loudly and walked over to him, "okay, lean over really far and pull you leg to you. I'll pull the cart away from you." I said, still laughing. 

       Sebastian pulls his leg from the small, plastic car, pushing it away from him as I pull on the yellow bar attached to it. Sebastian falls to the ground, hopping up quickly and dusting his pants off, laughing slightly. I lean over the plastic car and laugh so hard, I snort loudly, "Babe," I breathe out "that was the funniest shit I've ever seen." I tell him, holding my stomach and gasping. "Shut up and get in the car." He said, laughing and sliding the cart in the cart return. I slide into the car and look at Sebastian, "I love you." I tell, still chuckling a bit. He looks at me with a smile, "I love you too." He says, kissing me softly.
