I sigh, rubbing my eyes tiredly in frustration as I pull myself from the couch Sunday morning. There's probably a good chance that I would've actually slept and would've been in Jungkook's room if it weren't for the fact that Jingsah is staying here.
She's been here since Friday, and it's been a struggle. I've hardly been able to focus at all since I woke up Friday. Between knowing she was coming and staying with us while we celebrate birthdays this weekend, knowing about Eunha's death, my brother completely ignoring and avoiding me, and the stresses of debuting soon, I don't know how I've managed to have a single coherent thought.
Shaking my head, I grab clothes for the day. I quickly clean up and get dressed before heading over to the kitchen and beginning to cook breakfast. I don't get far into the process though, before I hear the sound of feet padding softly against the floor from the hallway.
"Minnie?" I hear Kookie ask tiredly. I turn, looking over at him before returning my gaze to the food in front of me so as not to burn anything.
"Kookie? What're you doing up so early? You should be sleeping." I question as I flip the pancakes that I'm making. It's Hyejin's favorite.
"Couldn't sleep well at all. I should be asking you the same thing though." He answers. I merely shrug in response as he walks over to me.
"Same here. But I needed to be up early enough to be making everyone breakfast anyways." I respond as he wraps his arms around my waist and rests his chin on my shoulder.
"You could still be sleeping though. It's really early and there's no way anybody's going to be up too soon. You easily could've slept in for probably another hour, if not another hour and a half. You're always up unreasonably early." He says with a small frown. I roll my eyes at the boy.
"Kookie, I told you. I couldn't sleep anyways. Besides, I still have a ways to go on the music video idea and choreography for our title track yet. I'm pushing the boundaries of possibly being late on deadlines." I tell him. He rolls his eyes with a small cute smile.
"Minnie, you work harder than anyone I know. I doubt you're going to miss deadlines and it wouldn't be the end of the world if you allowed yourself to just relax for once." He argues, looking up at me. I smile but roll my eyes at him, shaking my head slightly.
"I think I'll manage okay." I answer as I finish the first round of pancakes.
"Oh, I didn't know you two were dating." I hear a voice that just zaps any and all energy I have. I feel myself just entirely slump for half a second before everything tenses.
"We aren't dating, Jingsah." Jungkook answers as I continue focusing on the pancakes.
"Oh, really? My bad, it just certainly looks that way. You two definitely act like you're together half the time so I just assumed. My apologies." She responds innocently.
"No, those two aren't together, Jing. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if her and Tae get together soon. He flirts with her quite a bit and it definitely seems like she hides her feelings for him quite often." I hear Jimin reply, causing me to frown.
"Jimin, you were flirting with me quite a bit as well until you met, Jingsah. I have no feelings for Tae, just as I had none for you. His flirting with me means nothing about my relationship status in general." I remind him.
Glancing back over my shoulder at him, he just rolls his eyes as he sits down next to Jingsah and pulls her close to him. She smirks at me before she turns to look back at him, kissing him. I just return my attention to the pancakes, rolling my eyes as well.
"You two are disgusting. Go get a room or something." Jungkook says with a grossed out look on his face as he leans his back against the counter so that he's right next to me.
