I wake up the next morning to the feeling of Jungkookie's arm over my waist as he traces light random patterns on stomach while his other arm rests below both our heads. I mentally sigh, knowing what day of the year it is and wishing it didn't have to be. I hate all of the fuss that comes with it.
Turning over so that I'm faced to Kookie, I close my eyes as I nuzzle my head into his chest. Though, I catch him smiling before my eyes are closed.
"Good morning, beautiful. Happy birthday." He whispers softly, leaning forward and kissing the top of my head. Pulling my head away a bit as I look up at him with a small smile, he leans forward once again, this time kissing me on the lips.
"Morning, Kookie." I whisper after we finally pull away, a small smile on my lips still.
"So. Is there anything special you want to do today? Seeings as it is your birthday." He asks softly as I nuzzle my head back into his chest. I shake my head in response.
"Just stay here with you." I answer quietly as I close my eyes once more, feeling his fingers beginning to trace patterns on my back now. He chuckles softly in response though, letting my know that that's not exactly how today's going to work even though I'd already known it.
"I think I'd get ripped to shreds by the girls if I tried to keep you all to myself today, baby. But good try." He chuckles, kissing the top of my head again. I smile against his chest, knowing very well that it's true. They'd break the door down before we got to spend the entire day together just relaxing and hanging out in here.
"I know. You did ask though." I tell him with a giggle. He laughs in response with a grin as he grabs hold of us and rolls us to the side so that he's laying on his back with me on top of him. I smile at him, just happy with how we are now. Wishing that we didn't have to stop this or leave at all. Wishing that we could genuinely just be together today.
"Come on, beautiful. I know everyone else is up at this point and they're all waiting on you so that we can go get breakfast together. Well, a late breakfast but food all the same." He tells me grinning, running his fingers lightly up and down my back. I pout slightly at the suggestion, not wanting to go deal with anyone else.
He smiles up at me again before leaning up and pressing his lips back against mine. The kiss is slower this time, lasting longer than the first shorter kiss from before. Our lips move together slowly but completely in sync, one of his hands rubbing gently on my back while the other begins to tangle into my hair a bit. One of my hands reach up, pressing against his cheek as our lips continue moving against each other's.
"I love you, Minnie." He whispers softly with a smile when we finally pull away. I return the smile, laying my head down on his chest as I listen to his heart beating.
"I love you too, Jungkookie." I whisper in response as his hands go back to what they'd been doing before the kiss. We lay together like that for a while longer, a comfortable silence settling between us with the exception of his soft humming.
"Jeon Jungkook! Jung Minsae! Open the hell up! I don't care if the two of you are dating or not! You don't get to hog her for the entire day!" I hear Jee and Chae shout as a banging on the door begins to sound. Looking up at Kookie, we both breakout into fits of giggles and laughter in response to the yelling.
Looking up at everyone with a small smile, I thank them for the gifts they've given me. It's somewhere around early to mid afternoon at this point, and they'd all apparently gone and gotten me presents at some point as well as cake so that they could surprise me and celebrate my birthday again.
Well,... Everyone except for my brother. I can't tell you how many times I've scanned over everyone, plastering smile after smile onto my lips despite coming across the same result every single time: Hoseok being nowhere to be found amongst the group. I've not seen him once today.
