Chapter 13

Jason

When I got home all eyes were on me. All the guys were in the living room and it seemed like they were waiting for me.

"What?" I asked as they continued to stare at me.

"Where have you been?" Alex asked.

"Out." I answered bluntly and began to ascend the stairs.

"Out where?" Jordan pressed.

I sighed and stopped in the middle of the staircase. "I was out at the park, okay?"

"Alone?" Seth asked.

I rolled my eyes, why are they being so annoying? "Why does it matter? Just leave me alone." I continue up the stairs, almost reaching the too.

"You were with Autumn, weren't you?" Marcus asked.

That made me stop in my tracks. I sighed, deciding to just tell them so they would shut the hell up. "Yes, I was. Now will you leave me alone?"

"You fucked her, didn't you?" He smirked.

My grip tightened on the hand rail as a sudden rush of anger went through me at his words. He really thinks I would just "fuck" her? I mean, yeah, that's usually what I do with girls, but Autumn is too innocent for that. "No, I didn't. Now leave me alone." I stormed up the rest of the stairs and into my room, slamming the door behind me.

Ridding myself of my shirt and jeans, I jumped onto my bed and switched off the light. As soon as my face hit my pillow I was out.

The next morning was hectic in the house, all the guys were scrambling around doing a million things at once.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked, grabbing Alex's forearm to stop him from walking away.

"We're getting ready to meet up with another gang." He informed me.

"And why wasn't I invited to go?"

"Because you have school." He said, pulling his arm free and walking away.

"This is exactly why I wanted to drop out." I mumbled to myself and went into the kitchen to get some breakfast. When I walked in Seth was in there already. "You're not going either?"

"No." He grumbled. "Supposedly this meeting is pretty important. I'm surprised they didn't let you go, since you're like, second command of the gang."

I just shrugged in response, not wanting to continue with the conversation.

When I got to school I looked for Autumn. I found her with her two friends, they were walking into the school.

"Autumn!" I called out as I jogged after her.

She stopped turned around, looking surprised when she saw me. "Hey, Jason."

"Hey." I said, stopping in front if her.

"We'll see you later, Autumn." One of her friends said and they both walked away.

"So..." Autumn said.

"I was wondering..." I began. "If you wanted to hang out again after school, like what we did yesterday."

"I would, but I can't. I'm hanging out with Emily and Amy after school." She told me. "Sorry."

"It's fine." I assured her. "Maybe another time?"

"Yeah, definitely."

"Alright, cool."

"Yeah, I'll see you in class." She said before walking away.

I sighed and went to my locker, unlocking it and searching for my textbook. With my peripheral vision I could see someone leaning against the locker beside mine, looking over I see Tori. I mentally gagged when she pulled down her shirt to show off more of her cleavage.

"Hey, Jasey." She cooed.

I rolled my eyes, shutting my locker. "What do you want?"

She seemed taken back by my attitude, but she didn't give up. "You seemed stressed, need me to fix that for you?" She pushed herself off the locker and stepped closer to me.

"No, I need you to stay away from me." I said and walked away. I looked over by Autumn's locker and saw her already staring at me, she looked like she was holding back a laugh. I chuckled and playfully winked at her before quickening my pace, hoping to loose Tori.

At lunch I sat where I usually sat, with Seth all the other "popular people". For some reason Tori wasn't at lunch, but I wasn't complaining.

"Where's Tori?" Seth asked one of his friends, Jacob.

Jacob shrugged. "Probably fucking some guy in the janitors' closet."

"I thought her and Jason had a thing going on?" Daniel, another one of Seth's friends, said.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I asked.

"She's been going around telling everyone you and her are a thing." Daniel told me.

"Of course she is." I mumbled. "She's such a desperate whore, I would never have a "thing" with her. I can barely stand being in the same room as her."

"Yeah, but she's a pretty good fuck." Jacob chuckled. "Besides, don't you have a thing with that Autumn chick?"

"No, we're just friends." I answered, looking over at where she usually sits. She was laughing and talking with her friends.

"You got a thing for her though, don't you?" Seth asked.

I shrugged. "I don't know."

The last bell rang and everyone filed out of the school. As I was walking out I accidently bumped into someone, but I caught their arm before they fell. Looking into their chocolate brown eyes I instantly knew it was Autumn "Sorry." I said as she regained her balanced.

"It's fine." She assured me. "It was my fault, so I'm sorry."

I chuckled. "Whatever."

"Autumn! Lets go!" One of her friends called out to her.

"I should probably get going..." she said nervously.

"Alright, see ya."

"Bye."

As she walked away I couldn't help but stare at her ass, damn. Chuckling to myself at my dirty thoughts, I went to my car and unlocked it, getting in.

When I got home the house was empty, no one was home, not even Seth. Probably doing a mission or something gang related.

I placed my bag on the floor in my room and jumped into my bed, my hands went behind my head as I stared up at the ceiling. Suddenly my phone starting ringing and it showed that Alex was calling me.

"What?"

"Jason, we need your help at the warehouse." My brother said on the other line.

"Why?"

"We need help setting up this bomb."

"What's it for?"

"Remember that gang we loaned money to about three months ago?"

"Yeah."

"They still haven't payed us back." He told me. "So we're going to try to get them to pay up, and if they don't, we blow up their warehouse."

"Alright, I'll be there in a few minutes." I told him, getting off my bed and grabbing my keys.

"Alright, thanks." He said before hanging up.
