Autumn
The next morning I was woken up by a call from Seth, offering to pick me up and take me to school.
"Um.. sure. Thanks." I answered. "But how did you get my number?"
"When you were at my house yesterday and you went to the bathroom I called my phone with your phone so I had it."
"Okay..?" I said, wondering why he didn't just ask me for it. "Well, I gotta get ready for school. I'll see you in a little bit." I didn't wait for him to reply before I hung up. I set my phone on my bed and hopped in the shower.
When I got out I changed into a pair of faded skinny jeans and a gray sweatshirt that says "Love Never Fails". I brushed my tangled hair, brushed my teeth, then put my socks and gray Vans on. I grabbed my bag, slinging it onto my shoulder and grabbing my phone.
I went downstairs and out the door, locking it behind me. Suddenly my phone vibrated and I saw I had a text from Seth.
From: Seth
Almost there
I was too lazy to reply, so I just locked my phone and slid it into my back pocket. Then a car I recognized at Seth's pulled into my driveway. When the car was completely stopped I went to the passenger side and opened the door, sitting in the sleek, black, leather seat.
"Hey." He said, looking at himself through his rear-view mirror and running his fingers through his hair.
"Hi." I said, placing my bag on the floor beside my feet.

The ride was quiet and very awkward. Thank God my house is close to school or I would've died from the awkwardness.
When he parked I got out, picking my bag up from the floor of the car and setting it on my shoulder. "Um... thanks for the ride."
"No problem." He said casually, like it wasn't the most awkward car ride in the history of car rides.
I politely smiled at him then walked away from him, making my way to my locker.
"Autumn!" a voice I recognized as Amy's said from behind me. I turned around to see Amy and Emily running towards me. "Did you just get a ride from Seth?!"
"Yeah... so?"
"You lucky little bitch!" Emily said and smacked my arm lightly.
I rolled my eyes and turned back to my locker. "I don't see what the big deal is. He just gave me a ride to school in the most friendliest way possible."
"The big deal is he's Seth McKinley! The hottest guy in the school!" Emily said. "Every girl would kill to have a chance with him."
"I don't see why." I said. "He's not even attractive."
Amy and Emily gasped and looked at me like I just told them I killed someone. "What?!"
I shrugged, closing my locker. "I just don't see why every girl in this school is so infatuated with him." Amy and Emily's eyes were as wide as they could possibly be and their jaws dropped all the way to the floor. "I gotta go to class, I'll talk to you guys later." I said, then walked off to Ms. Brown's class.
When I walked into the classroom I was surprised to see Jason already in there and in his seat. I took my seat beside him, setting my textbook down on my desk. Jason turned to me and opened his mouth like he was about to say something, but he was interrupted by the bell ringing.
"Alright class," Ms. Brown began once everyone was seating. "Take out your textbooks, open them to page 406 and begin reading where we left off yesterday."
