Tris' POV

Right when the late bell rings a small group of people come into the classroom. The first boy to walk in has deep blue eyes, almost like the ocean, you could get lost in forever. Not being able to keep my eyes away doesn't feel like a punishment though, more like a... How would you describe it?

A pleasure so large, words can't even describe! You'd have to see for yourself to know. But now I notice the rest of the features on his astonishing face. A hooked nose, spare upper lip full lower lip. Man, he looks like a replica of Tobias! Older, but still. We haven't texted each other in forever, so how could I know if it's him? It's pretty much impossible. A person's appearance can change a lot in a year.

"Okay, class I'm Ms. Reyes! Don't you dare even think about calling me anything else until I give you permission. So, no ideas! Got it?" The teacher says.

"Yes, Ms. Reyes," everyone replies in a monotonous way. It sounds like they're at a really boring boot camp. It doesn't seem too good. I signed up for a chorus class with good singers, that sounded alive.

"Well, you need to get into groups of five seven and choose a song to sing! Preferably duet but I don't really care, whatever allows you sleep at night! Split up now before I put you in groups that you'll hate!" Someone isn't in a good mood this morning.

Shauna guides me to the group consisting of the "Tobias look a like" and introduces me to the group. Apparently the "Tobias look a like's" name is Four, the guy whose locker is quite close to mine. The rest of the people in the group are Christina, Lynn, Marlene, and Uriah. Weird, I think to myself. Lynn said Uriah's brother is in her next class with Four and Uriah so I guess that I will just meet him there. But if his name is Zeke then I will know it's the Pedrad brothers. Those would be great miracle. But the odds aren't always in my favor. Wow, I'm The Hunger Games trash.

"So what are we going to sing?" Christina asks. I think that's her name anyways.

"We could sing A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. The boys, I guess can be at the piano and guitar and some of you girls can sing I can just be back up," I suggest quietly, but loud enough for them to hear.

"Or you could be the lead, Tris, and the other girls can be back up. We always let the new student be the lead anyway. You had to audition for this class, so I'm sure you're really good," says Four. I think over this for a minute or so. My parents think I'm a good singer, and so did Toby...

But, he's telling the truth. I did have to try out for this class. It was really easy. They took me like that. They must like my voice enough for me to be here. Then again, I had an excellent teacher.

"Sure, I guess I can give it a shot. Wouldn't hurt anyone," I answer.

We walk up and tell Ms. Reyes that we want to go first and that we already picked our song. She's cool with it so we go to the stage and Uriah sits at the piano and Four fixes my mic, bringing it down at least two feet, and grabs the guitar. If he hadn't lowered the microphone, I wouldn't be able to sing into it. God damn my shortness.

The introduction begins to play and I take a deep breath, ready to sing with all my heart. The words should flow off of my tongue and they do.

A/N: Here it is, for your enjoyment! Sorry it's kind of terrible but I couldn't think of anything!😳😳😳😳 Umm... well I promise lyrics at the beginning of one of the next chapters unless you want a POV change starting from when Four enters the room. Either Shauna or Tobias! Bye Babes!! I forgot, Veronica Roth owns the characters, not me, so bye everyone!
