Christina's point of view.

When we arrive to the music room, I tell Ms. Johanna our numbers. Earlier I offered Daniel to sing or play am instrument in the performance but he declined simply stating that he wanted to hear how good we are from the audience. For the first period block, Ms. Johanna and the boys in the gang help set up the stage. Us girls practice the vocals since we have to hit really high notes for the song Emotions. i can't wait to get up there and show the freshmen how good you can get if you end up in the music department. The boys are taking chorus and rock band so that's why they get to help us this morning.

Ms. Johanna walks up to us with a nervous face and says, "Girls, our audience isn't going to be one grade level. The whole school will be watching. I know that I can't cancel now but if any of you don't want to participate in this then I can send you home saying that you through up backstage."

I look at the girls and answer for all of us,"We aren't backing down from a huge crowd. That would make us look like cowards. To me, that's the worst title anyone could give us because all of us are beyond brave. if you would like, we can start the concert in as little as five minutes since everything looks just about done. How long would it take to get all of the students down to the auditorium?"

"About ten minutes. Thank you for still agreeing to sing for us today. We already talked to the boys and they all agreed as well. The concert will start in 15 minutes maximum. So you can go take your places with the boys."

We all nod and make our way to our spots. All of the instruments seem ready enough and Uriah is being an idiot playing with the, well, I don't really know the name of the instrument. Four looks bored at the piano playing random parts of the song. Zeke is all of our percussion and even though he keeps on doing really good, I'm scared that he's going to mess it up. If he does I will mentally strangle him.

In a few minutes, Shauna and I look passed the curtains and see that almost all of the school is here exited for us to play. Almost as exited as teenage Taylor Swift fans going to see her in concert or even meeting her in person. But those are mainly the ninth graders. Everyone else is, while thrilled, somewhat used to the whole idea of this. But they don't know how we sound all together so now it's time to give them the best "Welcome back" concert ever.

Shauna looks a little nervous so I try to cheer her up a bit. She does get more calm, but there's still something that's pressuring her. I ignore it though because one the the music staff tells us that we have 20 seconds till we start.

The red, velvety curtains open up and because Four has the opening, he stands next to me using the sky-high microphone.

"Thank-you for coming to hear us this awesome morning! I'm Four and I'm going to be in this concert and I promise you, it's going to be the best freaking concert you will ever go to in high school. The first song is Emotions by Mariah Carey so I hope you like this really old song we picked out! Now to Christina." He says.

"Well I guess now we're starting!" When I finish the introduction music starts playing and it is great. It's almost time for me to sing and when I do, I swear we are infinite. All of us are united as one when doing this simple act involving music. The back-up girls making cords with their voices that leave sounding like echos coming from mouth, bouncing on the walls and meeting the ear drums of the classmates that will learn about all the acedemic topics.

In the end we sing five songs before we go. It's a half day after all. We had set up time and prefomance time which took up the whole school day. When we finish the last song, Uncondittionally, and the crowd cheers wildly. The teachers, while enjoyed the show, put on straight faces and led the students to their homeroom classes, marching ahead of the teenagers with pride of their status at school. They're like the lords of their very own mannors in Medival Europe with the principal as their king.

We clean up the stage and head home in groups, girls with girls, and boys with boys, since we are leaving this place  for a long time. Tris got a new like house for her own personal use so she asked her parents if we could stay with her till the school year ends. She turned 18 yesterday so why not? the only one of us who is still seventeen is Carmen anyway, but she hasn't lived with her parents for a while.

We get to the house and see it's a mansion. We have already brought our things with us so today we're touring the house and choosing our rooms. The kitchen looks great so I'm going to look up some pizza recepies and cook tonight.

"come on let's go do something!" Shrieks Shauna.

Marlene shoves me and says,"How about we check out the pool outside?"

I nod and say,"Race you there!" But by then, I'm already gone.
