Regular high school? Nope! Read this to go through all the ups and downs of Divergent high with Tris, Four, Uriah, Christina and all of your favored Divergent characters!
I worked very hard on this story so please don't steal any of my original idea...
I wake up to the annoying disruptive sound of clattering hangers. Caleb better not be putting stuff all over my clothes... Again. Then I hear the muffled bickering of teenage girls. Where the heck am I?
I open my eyes and see that I'm not in my room and the memory of last night flood in. Oh, yeah. Sleepover at Shauna's place. The voices become clearer as I become more aware of everything.
"But I look horrible in crop-tops!"
"Yes you do dumb ass! Why would I be handing you one then!?"
"Why are you two bickering!?" I whisper-yell. "Wait and who looks bad in crop-tops?" I add.
"One, because we're trying to make matching outfits for the day. Two, Christy says she looks bad in crop tops," says Shauna.
I get up and take a look into the closet. The stuff in here actually isn't that bad, not as good as my closet though, but it's actually quite fabulous. Now that I pay closer attention, most of the clothes in here are designer. There are the few exceptions of course. A girl doesn't need to be dress to impress all the time. But, I like the clothes I see!
"Shauna, what about this shirt, with these shorts and this jackets?" I ask pointing to a few cool pieces. The shirt is a dirty, forest green that's a V-neck. It says,"Sorry sucka, I'm taken!". The shorts are the kind that we're cut to become shorts and that's one of my favorite types of shorts. The jacket is black leather on what seems to be the vest part and a gray hoodie style for the sleeves and hoodie. The zipper is a golden color that reflects off light just the slightest bit.
"Tris! How did you think of that so fast?Christina and I can't do anything like that! Tell me your secret. I want to know how to pick out great outfits fast!" Shrieks Shauna.
"Well, it just happens to be that I'm not as girly as you two and my mom used to make me come with her to pick out her clothes to wear to hide herself from the public. I've gotten used to spotting a good outfit quickly. It's just my second nature," I reply, "Plus, I have the same clothes as you and more."
"Lucky," she mutters under her breath.
"We can just make a stop by my house and get the matching outfits and get shoes. My parents won't mind us in pajamas and we can stop by McDonald's or something. Go through the drive thru, you know. We can do our make-up at my house too. Then we can choose what to do from there," I tell the girls.
Both of them nod like crazy. Like little children excited to get ice-cream after a long day at school. I really miss those days, but they're sadly long gone.
~~~~~Tris' house~~~~~
Shauna's POV
I'm still blown away by how big Tris' house is. Who am I kidding! I'm blown away by everything she has! Who would've thought that few teens in Chicago could be easily in touch with such major celebrities? Right now we're going through her closet, which is huge, trying to find the matching outfits.
"I could've sworn I had the outfit in blue! And the same outfit in purple! Man, I really have too much clothes," says Tris.
"Can your parents adopt me so we can share a closet? This is amazing," Christy mutters under her breath. Tris blushes a little bit. But I can tell she just doesn't like so much attention, especially in the clothes department. I think the only reason that she's able to sing in front of an audience is because she gets lost in the music. That's what I do sometimes, anyway. It distracts me and carries me to somewhere far away that I can't really describe.
"OH MY WORD! I found it! You have it in so many colors! I mean, yeah, you only have two jackets that are the same but Shauna has the third one! Oh my goodness, this is insane! You have this shirt in like every color! How can you afford that?! Oh, wait never mind! That was so stupid to ask. How much will you give me for-" she starts to say, but I cut her off.
"Christina shut up already! Your ranting!" I yell.
She mumbles a tiny apology under her breath. But, now that I see it for myself, wow! I wish I could be her sister! I never knew one person could have so much clothes. It's fascinating how much there is.
"Just choose what color you want to wear the outfit in! Then I'll know how to do your make-up! I call dibs on black though!" Tris exclaims.
"Awe, I wanted black. That one has the words in red," whines Christina,"That's so not fair."
"You can just get it in red then if you like that color so much! Jeez, girl," Tris says.
"I think I'm sticking to the one I brought. I'll have to return the shoes anyway." I say. I can't wait to find out how many shoes she has. If it's a lot, I have a feeling we're gonna be there for a long while.
Tris speaks up again and says,"You know, I was thinking that maybe you both can keep the pair of shoes that you're gonna wear. I have over 250 pair of shoes. It'll only be fair you know?"
Christina POV
Did she just say what I think she said? This is so exciting. Oh my gosh! If she said what I think she said I going to-
Tris POV
"Christina!" I yell, "Shauna call 911! I think she just fainted!"
"Where's my phone I can't find it!?" She screeches.
"Here, use my cell! I'm gonna fan her off!" I dash to turn on the ceiling fan but trip on, well what do you know, paper fans. I grab two of them and turn on the ceiling fan.
I really hope this works.
Author's Note: Hello everyone! School starts on Monday so I'll try to update twice a week. I'm very sorry, but I'm not the author of The Divergent Series, that would be Veronica Roth. I'm not the ship sinker in this book but I will be for one of my stories. I promise it's none of the fanfictions, though. Bye Babes!
