Seven months later...

Killian's P.O.V:

It's been quite a while of Emma and I trying for pregnancy. We do our best to keep each other's minds occupied when the tests come back negative. We decided that it would be best to tell the family that we're trying to gain further support considering it only gets harder to deal with the results.

We haven't told Molly and Henry yet, and after speaking, Emma and I thought it best to wait until she really is pregnant before telling them.

Zelena, Ruby, Will, and Robin have been a big help in keeping our spirits high. With Mary-Margaret and David off on a trip together, and Liam and Regina busy with their own pregnancy, it's been nice to have them around. Especially because without them, our last resort would be my mum and dad.

Yesterday, I stayed home with the kids while Emma went out with Zelena and Ruby to get out of her head. Today, she's pushing me to take a turn. And so, due to her planning to the point that I simply cannot deny her demand, I've been set up to have a guys night with Will and Robin at a new high-end bar in town.

One reason I'm glad to be the one staying home with Henry and Molly is that I can simply... get away from the fame for some time l. I remain making music, only from the living room for the moment, with my children listening from either side of me. The last thing I need at the moment is the added pressure of fans swarming around me.

But, despite how much I love staying home, Emma is (per usual) right. I need to get out, and hopefully a night out with my mates will do it.

It's evening when I'm at the door, having second thoughts on whether or not I should leave. Emma stands in front of me, arms crossed, and refusing to let me turn back now.

"I know, I know, love, but are you sure-"

"Killian, the kids and I are going to have a blast tonight. Alright? It's Friday night. Go have fun," Emma insists, buttoning up an extra button at the top of my shirt. I raise my eyebrow in question at action.

"What? You're famous and attractive to the point that even plants swoon for you. Just cause I'm making you go out doesn't mean I want any ladies out for my man," Emma mutters resentfully. I let out a little chuckle, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

"Don't you think the wedding ring will be sign enough that I'm taken, darling?" I ask, looking down into her beautiful eyes.

"Maybe, but it won't stop the
drooling," she says with a scowl.

"You're sexy when you're jealous," I whisper in her ear.

"And you're always sexy. Hence the jealousy," Emma counters against my lips, kissing me deeply.

Eventually, I pull away reluctantly, my lips still lingering over hers. Bloody hell, she's intoxicating.

"So you admit you're jealous, then?" I tease, nipping at her bottom lip.

"Oh just go," Emma laughs, pushing me out the door.

"I love you!" I call to her on my way out.

"I love you too, baby."

The bar is a nice one. Classy, yet energetic. The people here seem crazy enough to have fun, and at the same time, tame enough to know their limits. Walking in, the lights are dim. I follow the carpet to the section I where was told to meet Will and Robin, and sure enough, I find them right where they said they'd be.
