"Are you sure you don't want anything else?" Van asked, leading me back into the living room.
"Uh, no, no. I'm good, thank you." I smiled to show my gratitude, all he could do was cheekily smile as he plonked himself down next to Larry on his couch.
"How mental was that gig last night? They loved tortuga!" Van bummed off how good the gig was. He was like a kid in a sweet shop I tell you. To say he was 17, the same age as me, he wasn't half bad. He was..pretty cute.
"Mhm." Larry tiredly nodded and Van nudged him hard. "Oi, what you doin' that for? you tit."
Van gasped with a laugh, "Awh, you still tired? Awh. Lawwy still tired?" Van imitated a baby voice and wrapped his arms and legs around Larry's body. He was having non of it, but he soon let out a grin.
"I can't work with this guy!" Larry laughed. I now realised Van was tickling him. "Oh, Van! No!" He cackled. "Van! Please. Haha! Stop!"
Van soon calmed down as there was a knock at the door and went to answer it.
"Billy's here!"I looked to Larry and Van, they both rolled their eyes. "Billy, this is Lisa. Lisa, this is Billy. You probs couldn't remember him after last night." Van introduced us properly and I nodded with a shy wave, as so did Billy.
"We were just talking about the gig last night! How mental was it?" Van beamed as he re-explained what he said to me and Larry, to Billy.
"Yeah. It was great! Are we going to rehearse in a bit or?" Billy asked, his arm stretched along the back of the couch.
"Yeah, we just have to wait 'til the boys get here. Do you wanna join us, Lisa?" Van looked to me as I took a drink of my water. I tried to swallow it and talk too quickly as the same time, resulting me in chocking.
"I'm good." I smiled, hopefully making myself look not like a tit.
"What? You're declining our offer?" Van gasped sarcastically,
"No, I mean I'll come. I've got college in like a day or something, no biggie." I shrugged, trying to seem as casual as I could.
"What college do you go to?" Larry asked.
"St Johns." I replied.
"Ah. You're a posh en? We dropped out of ours half way through." Van intrigued me but confused me, bit before I could ask why, he continued, "we decided to focus on the band. Hopefully we'll be as big as The Strokes one day."
"Yeah, shut up Van." Larry said, shushing him. "St Johns? That's that posh school down near the front isn't it?" Larry was actually trying to make a conversation.
"Yeah. Um, why?" I was a bit puzzled as to why Larry was intrigued by which college I went to.
"Just some family go there, that's all." He shrugged.
"Ohh! I see!" Van's lips curved into a smile and his hand shook Larry's shoulders, "you got a crush on that lass haven't you? She's called Amy." Larry fought against Van's pressure, resulting him to standing up and going into the kitchen.
"He's sensitive." Van whispered with a wink.
"I can see that." I commented, to be quickly cut off by the attention falling back to Billy.
"When are they getting here? I've got places to be." Billy huffed. I guess he's an impatient guy?
"I'll just text them now, see when they're getting here." Van took out his phone and quickly went to text them.
"Call them. Ben never answers his texts." Billy butted in. I felt a bit intimidated by Billy, he didn't seem like a friendly type. I bet he was, he just doesn't show it.
