Alton Towers

It's been about a month. A month since I had said yes to being Van's official girlfriend. He moved on from Abby pretty fast but we all knew how toxic their relationship was. I think Billy was right, Van did actually like like me all this time. After having a rough relationship with Alfie I kept having thoughts if Van would ever be like him but that's not right to judge Van like that. He's different, I know he is.

"I'll get it!" I shouted to my mum downstairs as I heard a knock at the front door. It was Van, we had planned to go to Alton Towers today and spend the night over at Van's whilst his parents were out working at another B&B which was further out than their usual B&B that they work at. Cardiff I believe?
I still get butterflies just thinking about Van, that's what it's supposed to feel like, right?

I placed my hand to the door handle and pulling it down and towards me to reveal Van and the boys waiting. They were all dressed in their usual attire, Van swapping out his leather jacket for a more waterproof thinner, durable coat.

"Hi." He grinned, his hands resting in his pockets. His hair surely had grown quite a bit in length, it was now resting low on his neck, almost at shoulder length. It was cute, especially with his cheesy little grin.

"Hey." I smiled immediately just looking at him smile, his eyes appearing more green than blue today.

"You ready?" He grinned harder, making my cheeks blush as I heard my mum walk closer to the front door. Our parents had met a couple weeks back after we had the guts to tell them, since you know how parents are once you get a boyfriend or girlfriend, wanting to immediately meet their parents. But they really liked Van and I think his parents really liked me too.

"Yeah, I'll just grab my phone and keys." I quickly turned around to grab them to see that my mum was already holding them in her hands getting ready to pass them me. "Thank you." I showed my gratitude through a smile before taking my belongings and heading out the door with Van by my side. My mum waved us off as we all headed to the bus stop which will take us to the train station and then down to Alton Towers. It was a pretty far, saying it was a day trip.

"Which rides are we going on first?" Van excitedly rubbed his hands whilst we all stood waiting for the bus. I realised we were down by one member..Billy.

"Not that water one, fuck that. Not after last time." Larry sighed, not seeming too impressed with how excited Van was appearing to be.

"Why? It was so good! What about Nemesis? You'd love that one Lisa!" Van laughed, recalling a memory from last time they had been. I wonder when that was.

"Why, what's that one like?" I smiled, trying to not get caught up in my daydream. Van explained how the Nemesis worked using his extravagant hand gestures demonstrating how the ride went. I just nodded going along with his scheme before the bus eventually came and we all climbed on and paid.
Two hours later, Van was taking my hand leading me off the train, the boys following closely behind.

We went through the main entrance into the theme park after paying for our tickets and being given a map to share. Van holding it out in front of him at arms length, his eyes concentrating on certain parts of the map.

"Which ride Larry? I can't find it?" He asked. I saw Benji grinning with his phone close to his face like he was taking a picture. I lifted myself to my tip toes to see that he was indeed taking a picture of Van being confused and Larry trying to remember what ride it was that had a big loop.

"Honestly, just pick a ride." I let out a chuckle, my arms folded, watching as Van scoffed with a grin.

"Alright guys, we've got to do whatever Lisa says." Van raised his brows with a grin, lightly licking his bottom lip. Benji and Bob pressed their lips together as they held in a laugh.
