Last night, I went straight to bed once Billy left. So much had happened that night, my mind was confused as to how Van actually felt about me. I know he said he liked me but I don't know if he actually meant it and then there was Billy saying he did like me but I don't know, I just don't fully trust Billy yet.

I decided to get a bath this morning instead of a shower, my towel still resting on the toilet seat, waiting for me to use it. I got up from my bed, the winter sunshine shining through my curtains made me squint my eyes as I let out a yawn and stretch. I checked my phone to see that Van was trying to call me throughout the night, I had over ten missed calls. I didn't want to deal or cause another big fuss right now so I left my phone in my bedroom whilst I resumed getting ready for the day. I didn't know exactly what I was getting myself into really, I was just taking Billy's word for it. I don't exactly know how today is going to pan out.
I did my day as normal, finishing of bits of my homework now and again, mainly just so I had finished it and it was out of the way so I wouldn't have to worry about finishing it. I made myself some dinner because by the time I had finished binging my favourite TV show I was pretty hungry. I was still getting missed phone calls from Van but I wasn't in a good state of mind to talk to him, I'll be seeing him tonight anyway - which he doesn't know about. I felt a bit nervous to be seeing him, like I'm going to have to message Billy soon to see where the venue is. I still had some money left over from what my parents had left me so I could use that for travel.

It was knocking on around 6 pm and I still hadn't texted Billy asking. We hadn't swapped numbers so my only resolution was to go through Van's Facebook and find him on there - good job I did it because he replied almost instantly, giving me the details and what time to be there for. Good job it was a somewhat local venue, just a 20 minute journey on a bus which is not that long for me, I like travelling. Billy said to be there around 7:30 ish going on 8, so that gave me enough time to fix myself up before I'd have to leave.

The evening grew darker and I knew it was going to be freezing. I do have coats, I just prefer my leather jacket because it's warm and keeps in warmth when I'm out and about. I made my way up the stairs to my bedroom where I had left it a mess from trying to find an outfit. I ended up going for my usual band t-shirt since I am going to see them, I've got to show my support but also, it was a really comfy shirt. I shoved on my black high waisted jeans and some shoes that I have had for years. I made sure that I didn't forget to take a little shoulder bag to put all of my stuff in because I am fond of losing money and change. For my makeup, I kept it pretty plain, just the usual mascara and concealer, nothing fancy. My hair was presentable, neat, well neat enough for me not to have to straighten it or faff around with it.

After all my time of deciding on an outfit, doing my makeup and putting everything I needed into my small, brown cross body bag, I headed out of the house, ensuring that I had locked both of the doors and shut all of the windows because you can never be too careful.

I texted Billy on the way to the bus stop to say I had just set off, he had seen it but not replied which helped me out in I've got an idea of how Billy could occupy Van's mind until I got there. Whilst waiting for the bus, it came up on the timetable that there was a fifteen minute delay between each bus, which would make me a bit late for getting there, I'm sure they won't mind. Eventually a bus turned up, I paid my fare and set out on the now 30 minute bus journey. It was pretty empty and I could see why hardly no seats were filled - it was freezing and the middle of winter, nobody likes to travel in the freezing cold.

Half an hour goes by and I reach my stop, thanking the bus driver as I got off, I slung my bag to my shoulder and held it securely as I walked up the street to the pub where they were playing. I was greeted by bodies of couples making out outside the doors of the pub, I saw the boys van parked in the parking lot and it made me realise that I'm going to have to face Van. It's either now or never. I could hear Van's voice from the outside the walls of the pub thanking people for coming. I hesitantly made my way in, squeezing my small body through the tight spaces and entered the main area of the pub where the bar was. The stage was at the other end and I could see the boys playing one of their songs, Van singing passionately into the microphone as the boys played alongside him. I cautiously made my way through the crowd of people that they had accumulated in the past half an hour that I had missed trying to get here. I caught eyes of Billy and he nodded subtly towards the side of the stage, meaning for me to make my way over, and so I did.
