Melissa's P.O.V.

I look into the room and see her lying in that hospital bed with all the wires and machines around her and I think back to when mom and dad first told us that Mia our sister was in the hospital.

~flashback~

"Girls we have to tell you something" mom said
"About a year ago Mia got sick, that's why she's been in the hospital."
"Is she going to be okay?" We asked
"Yes, don't worry girls she's going to be alright we just wanted you to know"

~end of flashback~

And they were right she was alright she got better and a year later she was back to her old self but the image of Mia lying in a hospital bed remains in my mind and with Alex lying there it makes it feel like Mia never got better

~1/2 hour later~

Spencer's P.O.V.

Alex fainted and fell down the stairs a few weeks ago she was unconscious for a few days and has had to stay here for the past week
"Hey" I hear Tyler running up behind me and I turn around "how is she?"
"Hi, she's sleeping but the doctors said she should be able to go home within a week" I reply, Tyler is Alex's boyfriend they've been dating for almost 2 years.
"Spence, Tyler" we hear Alex's raspy voice because she still hasn't gotten her voice back completely.
"You go in," I say to Tyler

Tyler's P.O.V.

"Hey Alex, how are you feeling?" I asked her
"Better, can I go home yet?" that's the one question that she has asked me every day for the past two weeks and every day I gave her the same answer but not today.
"Well actually I some good news, the doctor said you should be able to come home within a week" the way her face lights up like a Christmas tree when I say this it just brightens up the entire room.
"Really?" she asks excitedly
"Really," I tell her "I got you something,"
"What is it?" she asks her eyes growing wide with curiosity.

Alex's P.O.V.

Tyler pulls a black string bracelet out of his pocket and hands it to me. It has a small gold infinity sign in the middle and a tiny gold cube at either end.
"It's beautiful Ty, thank you I love it!"
"I'm glad you like it and look on the inside" there was something engraved on the inside it said T+A for infinity
"Aww I love you Tyler,"
"I love you too Alex," and then we kissed.

Tyler left to get us lunch and ten minutes later Hanna came in to visit
"Hey," Hanna said
"Hey Han what's up" she looked upset
"Nothing" she lied I gave her a look so she could tell I knew she was lying
"What's wrong Hanna?" I asked again
"Caleb and I had a fight" she gave in
"Why what happened?"
"I'm not really sure we just started shouting at each other"
"It'll be ok," I said "come here" stretching my arms out for a hug

Beca's P.O.V.

I feel bad for Alex maybe if someone had done something to stop it happening maybe she wouldn't be here.
