MARCO'S POV

Hindi na kami nag-stay pa ng matagal dun sa seashore...the breeze makes us chill kasi...and I believe this girl should take a rest...at pati ako...mas lalo pang sumama ang pakiramdam ko.

Nag-dinner muna kami sa ground floor restau...

Pinagtitinginan kami nung mga staff! pugto kasi yung mata ni Kai-kai! Tingin ata nila, pinaiyak ko sya. Tsk.

Di naman ako ang nag-paiyak sa kanya di ba? di ko naman sya inaway eh! Kasalanan ko bang umiyak sya?

Damn. Mas lalong sumakit ang ulo ko!

Pag-balik ko sa room, napaisip na naman ako!

That girl...

I never thought she would...and she could cry that much.

Naniwala na din kasi ako...that she's cold.

Hindi pala.

Marunong din palang umiyak!

Pero I felt satisfied kasi I've attained my purpose of bringing her here. Gusto ko kasi na mailabas nya ang tunay nyang nararamdaman.

Kasi alam kong hindi nya magagawang umiyak sa harap ng maraming tao na tinitingnan ang bawat kilos nya.

Mabuti at pinagkatiwalaan nya ako.

at sana...in my small way, nakatulong ako sa kanya.

I collapsed on my bed, feeling a bit sleepy...

There's a little boy staring at a familiar face.

The man was on a bed with white sheets.

There's also a familiar faced woman who's worry-striken, caressing the pale man.

Another man in white lab gown came in with a nurse and discusses something with the woman outside the room.

The child came nearer the bed and directly looked on the man's eyes.

They have the same light brown-colored irises.

"I heard that you've collapsed? You'll gonna be okay, right?"

The man just smiled in return to the child's queries.

"Dad, I have a good news! guess what? I AM OFFICIALLY PART OF THE BASKETBALL TEAM! Thank you for encouraging me to try it out."

"That's good to hear, I am proud of you, son." he said weakly, but with a bright smile.

"And Dad...we'll have a practice game with Brookly next week...you'll gonna see me play right?"

"Of course, I'll be there with you, my little MVP." he smiled again.

Then I realized...

THAT WAS ME 11 years ago! AND THAT'S MY LATE FATHER!

*click* the door opened and Mom rushed in.

she hugged Dad...kissed him...and told him, she'll find the best doctor...

But I guess Mom failed...or maybe the best doctor wasn't the best after all...or maybe Dad just decided to let go.
