Chapter 1

Jennie Kim, she wasn't as strong as people think she were... She had three siblings, Jin, Taehyung, and Tzuyu. They study in the same school, but they were rather distant in school, not wanting anyone to know that they were even siblings, not even their friends in campus knew about them being siblings she was twenty-two, old enough to handle harsh situations. But, no.

Her parents died when she was nineteen, murdered like they were a hungry animal's prey, she'd like to think that it was an accident rather than a murder incident to keep her trauma and anxiety away.

"Jen, Tzuyu, your brothers ordered you downstairs." One of their eldest housekeeper knocked, cooing on the door of the room where Tzuyu and Jennie laid on the bed watching their favorite series Once Upon a Time.

Jennie stood from her place grabbing the knob before thrusting the door open, to meet the old ladies eyes smiling at her,

"Aren't their friends downstairs?" She furrowed her brows trying to take peek of the kitchen that was located on the first floor of the constructed mansion, "Wait, the idiots are here?" Tzuyu scoffed from her place before Jennie turned her head with a glare painted on her face.

"He said, he wants you to meet them." She smiled even wider not removing her warm gaze from Jennie.

She flashed a tiny smile before nodding, removing her hand from the painted wooden door, "We'll be there."

The two of them fixed themselves before jogging towards the stairs only to catch the guy's attention,

"oh lala, Jin you didn't inform us you had your girlfriends over." Jennie scrunched her nose in disgust about to spit back at the blonde guy who had his fork on his hand, wrapped around his tiny pinky, "Shut it! They're our sisters." The sudden blurt out from Taehyung caught the rest of the guys off guard, "You may sit down." Jin motioned them to sit on the remaining seats.

"This is Tzuyu, and this is Jennie. How's it going Cuz?" Yoongi lazily greeted while Jennie stood frozen on her spot, "I don't feel like sitting here." She coldly announced, her resting bitch face only got defined each second she was around them,

"What's wrong did you two fight?" Jin asked referring to Taehyung and Jennie, she flashed a tiny smile before shaking her head no, "I'm not in the mood, Ms. Mae? Can you bring my food in te garden please?" The old lady bowed agreeinf before packing her food.

She sat by their garden, the cold winter breeze encelopinf her petite body as she lazily munched into her food, staring at the stars twinkling above her. "Jen?" A deep yet soft voice called her out, as she turns her head to find Taehyung with a scarf wrapped around his neck,

"Oppa? Why are you here? You should head inside." She moved her gaze back to her food before Tae sat in front of her crossing his arms across his chest to warm himself up, "I miss mom, and dad. I still remember how use to have dinner here altogether, now all the flowers mom took care off are withering." She chuckled bitterly, V hummed in response laying back against the chair, "We can always have dinner here again, anytime you want. Just tell me or Jin Hyung, we'll do it." He smiled at her pittying his sister for loosing their parents and is still not getting over it.

He admits it, that although he doesn't show it, he also couldn't get over the same fact, not when he witnessed his parents corpse being carried on the stretchers, when he heard the heart beat of his parents stop, and he could still remember the words of the doctor who tried to save them,

Time of death, 12:51 am

"Let's go inside, they're arguing on something again." She nodded her head before standing up leaving her plate for their helpers to clean it,

"NO!" Jennie heard Tzuyu whine loudly, "We don't even know their names!" She added, Jennie's brows creased going closer to the bunch of people, "You brat, can't we just stay? It's like almost midnight, and this mansion has over 10 rooms, are you kidding me zuyu?" Suga spat back annoyed by how much of a brat their youngest was,

"Eonnie, they're trying to sleep over." She whined grabbing Jennie's arm before harshly shaking them, "I don't know about that, Oppa, we have trust issues." Jennie awkwardly replied getting too much attention from them, which she always hated.

"It's okay we can introduce everyone, and even though they look like they could murder— I'm sorry I didn't mean it like th—" "It's fine..." Jin cut Suga off before nodding his head,

"You can trust them, we would never have introduced them to you if they can't be trusted." Jin reassured his younger siblings before sitting on the couch next to them.

"I'm your hope, your my hope, the name's Jhope." He smiled widely like a sun beaming from the sky, which warned the chilled atmosphere, "horse-face." Taehyung mumbled, "YAH! WHERE'S THE RESPECT MEN?" He jokingly retirted before sitting back down pouting,

"I'm Kim Namjoon, pleasure to meet you ladies." He announced in fluent english, Jennie smiled hearing the man's sexy accent "I'm Jimin!" The one slightly taller than Jennie perked up from his seat before bowing as he smiled loosing his eyes.

"I'm Jungkook, I live four houses down." He flashed a tiny smile towards them, Jennie finding it cute. Now they don't look like those guys who'd run a car over random people, or who'd slit someone's throat, they're ones, they can trust.

While everyone was in the playroom, trying out different games while wearing their pajamas, Jennie was in the music room, playing the piano to a beautiful melody she created,

If you feel the same, don't leave today
Don't ask why it has to be you
Just stay with me

She sang quietly, the room echoing her unique voice that resemboed an angel singing, she continued to play the song she composed, until

A loud clap of excite caught her off guard, causing her to close the piano abruptly, "Chill! I'm not gonna do anything!" The same brunette guy, and if she's not wrong, it was Jungkook.

"Jungkook, why are you here?" She furrowed her brows before locking the piano and sitting properly on the stool, "I heard someone playing, so I thought I should go in, and the door was wide open. I'm sorry..."

A smile crept on her face trying to keep it that way, but Jungkook was quick to catch the fake smile she plastered on her face.

"I think I've seen you somewhere before we even met here?" He placed his fingertips on his chin and looked at the ceiling as if he was gonna find any answers written there for him,

"I'm in all of your classes, I just don't like attention, and you're too busy flirting with girls." She let out a laugh, then he remembered, she was the one who answered almost every math questions yesterday, "I did not! They were the ones flirting with me. And I remember how you're the math geek in the classroom now." Get rolled his eyes leaning his back against the wall a bit far from her.

An argument rose from who was the one flirting, but in the end, Jennie's dominance loomed over him, causing him to sigh in defeat, not wanting to utter another word to this lady, "Fine, you win." She ended up laughing loudly causing him to smile, did he just decipher the cold girl he met earlier?

He thought he might've did, "Unnie, Jin Oppa said to go to bed early." The more they got older, the more protective Jin and Taehyung got with them, and they could do and say less about it.

"Goodnight kook," She bowed before heading out of the music room and running at the halls with Tzuyu, heading towards their rooms separately.

SUP GAIS! I am currently re-editing the book, so if you ever read the book, and thought some things didn't make sense, I'm kinda fixing my writing style here, so please bear with me😇
