Chapter 42

Jungkook woke up and got ready before making breakfast, his phone alarmed with a reminder that they will be going to work today for a recording. Jungkook cooked pancakes for breakfast and prepared bacon and eggs. As soon as he finished he hesitated to wake Jennie up, but he did anyways.

"Jen... we have to do some recordings today." He stated calmly and gently rocked her,  Jennie didn't move even a bit so he tried again but this time he rocked her a bit more with force

"Jen, wake up..." he said with his normal voice, blinking a couple of times Jennie shot her eyes up and got out of her bed

"Goodmorning breakfast is already served." He said before leaving her room for her to get ready.

Once he set up the plates he called Jennie.

"Noona! Let's eat!" He yelled, Jennie went out of her room with bare face, it's not new anyway since she doesn't really put make up at home even when they were dating

"Are we going somewhere?" Jennie asked coldly before digging in

"N-Neh, we have to do a recording for a cover, hyung called me ye-yesterday." Jungkook stuttered at the awkward state of the both of them

"Mkay..." she bluntly replied as she takes a bite of her pancakes and swallowed it hardly

"Dead silence..." She muttered taking Jungkook's attention

"What?" He asked but Jennie shook her head aggressively and continued eating

After finishing her food she washed her plates and Jungkook followed to help her wash the plates too,

"Yesterday..." Jungkook said initiating a topic

"What happened yesterday?" Jennie said, obvious that she was just trying to avoid the topic he was going to talk about

"I just want to talk about yesterday..." Jungkook cleared making Jennie fake cough and walk away

"Do you think we can restart?" He asked, she stopped her tracks and shrug the question off, Jennie went in her room and put on light make up, silently thinking about Jungkooks question... She wanted to give him a chance, but she is afraid that he'll do it again, there are so many pros and cons in her head and she's trying to figure it out... Then she remembered what V told her

"Don't you think you're being too much?! Why do you think he saved you from Taeyong?!Why do you think he celebrated your 6th month anniversary if he doesn't love you?! Why do you think he kept looking when he loved someone else?! Why do you think he wanted to marry you?! Do you think all of it was just because he wanted you to see he loves that Cheina?! Jen, I thought you are an 'A' student but looking at you right now. I think your not. Your knowledge isnt wide enough to realize that single thing."

Jennie slapped her face and pinched her self to see if everything was real, but nothing happened everything stayed the same. She pushed herself up from the chair and grabbed her purse in her closet

"Noona! Kaja!" Jungkook yelled ready to get out of the dorm, Jennie ran as fast as she could and grabbed his wrist

"Can we reset?!" Jennie exclaimed trying to stop him from going out of the dorm and making his world go slowmotion as Jennie's cold hands touch his wrist, he closed the door and processed everything she said

"What?" He asked in confusion

"Can we start over?" She asked repeating her question but now being more specific

"You mean? You wanna be together again?" He asked

"I thought I was really harsh with you once I knew that you cheated but I thought everyone deserved a second chance, although I was already jealous of everything, I tried to change everything I am feeling because I'm afraid." Jennie confessed, Jungkook sighed and let his wrist get off her grip and now holding her hanf
