I look down at Marco from the beam I'm sat on. My cousin really has grown up hasn't he?

"Hold your fire."

The poor soldiers in that elevator down there... They look absolutely terrified. Then again, who wouldn't when their eye level with 7 titans.

"Steady"

The titans take a step

"Steady..."

They reach the elevator.

"Fire!"

Every soldier shoots at the titans, blinding everyone of them simultaneously. I decide that this is our perfect opportunity.

"Now!"

7 of us jump from the beams. Me, Mikasa, Jean, Reiner, Bertholt, Sasha and Annie. We all aim for the napes.

6 of us succeed whilst Sasha misses her target. The titan looks down on her with big beady eyes. Just as it crouches down, I take the chance to jump on it and slice it's nape.

"THANK YOU (Y/N)! WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT YOU!?", she cries while clinging onto my clothes. I can only pat her head awkwardly to console her. I look up to where Marco, Connie and Armin are looking down from and smile. We took back the supplies.

"Alright everyone", I speak loud enough for everyone to hear, "restock on equipment! Our beautiful titan friend out there may be holding up the titans, but that doesn't mean we can relax! Once you're full on glass and blades, retreat to the inner wall!"

"YES MA'AM!".

Gosh, I felt so much like Levi just now... speaking of which, I do hope he's doing okay... 

What am I saying? Of course he is! He's Captain goddamn Levi!! That man can survive anything.

I do the same and then join Mikasa on the roof of the house just outside the storeroom. Armin and the others follow suit.

"What's wrong Mika...?", I turn my head slowly to the right to find our allied Titan surrounded by titans.

"The titan... He's...", Mikasa can't quite get her words out, so I finish for her.

"He's being eaten".

No no no!! This can't be happening! He was our one chance! 

"Look! It's the Titan that ate Thomas!", Armin cries.

Just down the street was a blonde abnormal, slowly making its way over. I see movement in the corner of my eye, and see our Titan breaking free from the hold of the others. 

Wait... Is he... going after that one!?

Sure enough, I watch as it rushes over to it and rip off it's nape using just its teeth. We all watch in shock as it lets out another hearty roar.

And

Collapses.

"Heh. Some secret weapon that was", I hear Jean mumble. Then, Mikasa's hand clasps onto mine.

"...look".

As the smoke around the fallen Titan clears, I see... a miracle, emerging from the nape area.

"EREN!!!"

I scream as I free my hand and jump off the roof, landing painfully on the concrete. I run so fast that my feet can't catch up and I trip, but I get up again and finally make it to him.

I frantically touch every part of his face, checking to make sure if he was real. 

Shit! 

I place my ear on his chest...

*Bmp bmp. bmp bmp.*

I feel my eyes get hot as the tears swell inside them, then let them roll down my face.

"Eren..."

I move my head to his shoulder and pull his body closer.

"You're alive."
