(Y/n) and Levi Sqad

Why does a team of six people need two leaders? I still don't know, but commander Erwin said it was "essential to accomplishing our goal", though I'm not sure how.

It's been 3 days since the night on the balcony. I still have that dream, I haven't seen Levi since, and I still haven't met my squad. But that should all change today. In fact, that's exactly where I'm heading now, on the back of my black and white horse, Hobi.

I see the castle rise from the edge of the horizon, an old, stone building towering close to the height of the trees.
It was one of many castles taken for bases by the survey Corps, this one's name was "Somnium miles". That's Latin for "Dream of a Soldier". Fitting when you think about it.

The gap between me and my destination closes and I leave my horse in the stables, next to a jet black one, 'Levi's horse, I bet'.

"(L/n)", just as I think about him, his deep, stern voice calls out to me and I turn towards it.

"Hurry your ass up, it's time you meet our squad". I was more than ready fo this, or so I thought.

I take my place next to Captain Levi and face my new squad members. I struck my hand against my chest in salute and examined each one of them. The first, a short, fair haired girl with hazel eyes. She looks kind, she is also one of the few girls I have seen in the survey corps, and the only girl on this squad. "Good morning Lieutenant (L/n)! My name is Petra Ral, if you need help fitting in come talk to me any time."

The next, a tall man with two tone hair, light brown on top, shaved dark hair underneath, a bit like Jean's. I hold back a giggle as I remember him and Eren... 'Stop it you have to stay focused' I think to myself. The way he stands, he looks like he wants to be seen as tough, which is making me think he's some sort of wanna be Levi. "Hi, my name is Oruo Bozado. Now listen punk, just because your our second leader, dont think I'm going to take orders from a little girl".

"Is that so Oruo? Well in that case don't take orders from me, but my horse Hobi over in the stale there. I'm sure he has some amazing jobs he wishes for you to do for him", his face drops at that, I feel bad, but I earn a few chuckles from the others so it is fine.

The next is a tall, slightly darker skinned man who's brown hair pointed up at the back, a strange haircut, I have to say. There doesn't seem to be too much going for him, but I can tell he could easily put a group of titans in their place. "Lieutenant, my name is Günther Schultz, I hope we get all get along".

"Me too Günther, and I'm sure we will."

The last was a man with long blonde hair, pinned up at the back. Like Günther , he doesn't seem too special, but he seems like he could kick some serious ass in the field. But then again, that is expected from the special operations squad. "My name is Eld Jinn, I hope you will be a good leader to us, and hopefully not too strict.", his eyes shifted to Levi, and I couldn't help but laugh. When I do so, they all smile.

Still at Levi's side, I decide to give a small introduction, and by small, I mean the short version of my story, as Commander Erwin had instructed. They all knew what was coming and waited patiently, even Levi payed some attention.

"My name, is (Y/n) (L/n). I am originally from the Shinganshina district in Wall Maria." As expected, every single mouth dropped, but they were quick to hide it. "The main reason I am here and not still in training is because my sister lost an arm in the attack on Wall Maria and needs the treatment and protection that only this regiment can give her. But I will assure all of you that I am not little child, if that were the case I would have been placed as a normal recruit, not a lieutenant. I want to be able to trust and protect all of you, and I hope you can do the same for me."

"From today onwards, we are not a team...

We are a family".
