Chapter 21 : a year later

" Kalea " i said running after her as she crawled across the room , today's her birthday and she was enjoying it surely . Candy all in her hair and half of her clothes had cupcake icing on it . I rented out a big place for her party , I was tired of doing it at our house plus this is an exclusive party anyways . Ash helped decorate for once & tried getting on my good side after the other night when he threw all of my food that I made for the family in the garbage because it wasn't what he asked for . So me and my kids had to starve the whole night being that everywhere was closed and not delivering because of the storm .

I finally got my hands on Kalea & she hugged on my face and gave me kisses with her lil bad ass . " next time mommy call you come " I said wiping the mess off her face & placing her back on the floor . She ran off again after the balloons on the floor . Alex walked up towards me and I was happy to have someone to keep me company before everyone came . " the decorations and stuff came out nice " she said & I shook my head agreeing . " Yeah with the help of you " I said placing my hand on her shoulder .

I felt someone grab me by my waist and I automatically knew it was Ash . " Wassup baby" . I rolled my eyes and Alex stared me dead in my eyes she already knew the bs . " hey ash " I said turning around and hugging him . " you good ? Where babygirl at " he said and I was shocked he was asking if I'm good but knowing him he'll say anything and not mean it . " yeah I'm fine and she's over there playing with the balloons " I said pointing to her .

Before I could say anything Kayla walked in with this big ass bag . Which was crazy and random asf because I haven't seen her or spoken to her every since the whole fiasco at the baby shower when she stormed out on me . What surprised me the most was that she had a baby bump . I was happy for her even tho we aren't friends .. well not speaking a baby meant she finally settled down with someone . I looked over at Ash and he looked like he shitted his pants and I don't know why , " I thought you wasn't speaking to .. her " he said looking over at me as she walked towards us .

" I didn't .. " I said looking at him raising my brow . Finally Kayla had made it towards us and she had this evil grin on her face as if she came here to be spiteful . " long time no see " she said rubbing her stomach looking at Ash first then over to me . " yeah surprised you're here " I said giggling . I looked at her neck and seen a Diamond chain that looked familiar to the one that went missing a couple of weeks ago . " well I came to show love for your babygirl .. Ash your not gonna greet me ? " she said looking over at him and rubbing her stomach once again .

" should I have to ? " he said with an attitude . " I mean it would be nice to after all I am holding your child " she said and suddenly the whole party went silent . I mean music cut off and everyone was looking towards us . " holding his what ? " I said looking at her confused .

I seen Lauren and Rich walk in the party with so many gifts , but that couldn't take my mind off the fact that my best friend was sitting here basically saying she's been fucking Ash . " Girl don't act this gon stop you from being with him anyways " she said waving me off . I felt my heart burst into pieces , Depression was kicking in and It felt like I was having an anxiety attack . I haven't had an anxiety attack since last week , I thought I was doing good on a stress free path but it felt like this shit was hitting my all over again .

We all sat there quiet , Meanwhile I'm trying to fight these tears and hold back be strong & not ruin my daughters party but it's just like I never win . " so you mean to tell me , you been fucking him behind my back ? This gotta be a joke " I said laughing it off , I couldn't help the tears they burst out but I was still trying to laugh it off . " we been fucking since you was pregnant girl " she said laughing .

" If you wasn't pregnant , I would beat your fucking ass " I said placing my hands on the table and leaning over it with my back facing them  griping onto the cake knife . " Ash I cant believe .. I swear you bitch ass nigga ! I hate you with everything in me THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS FUCK MY FRIEND " I said walking towards him with the cake knife & everyone started to run towards me to stop me from reaching him . This man has been such a negative impact on my life and ruined me as a person completely .
