Finally, I get to the holding cell. It's five feet high and five feet long. Inside, there are stair leading underground. Down those stairs are about twenty - thirty holding cells, all brightly lit by lanterns just outside the doors.

There are two wolves in front of the door way, one I recognize as Mark, the other I don't know.

"I'm sorry, Luna, but we can't allow you access." Mark says.

"And why not?" I ask, trying my best to sound professional.

"Alphas orders" says the other guy without even looking my way. He is bald, with a slight beard. He has dark skin, and a very big build. Almost twice the size of Mark. He looks like he works out every day! His voice is really deep, too.

"Oh please tell me you don't mean Jared." I put my hand to my face. Not this again. Why do people, especially Jared, like restricting me from things? I'm part of this pack too! In fact, I'm not part of it, I am it. As in I am half of the board in charge. I should be allowed this stuff.

"I'm sorry, Miss, but yes, yes we do," says the big guy.

"Excuse me, what's your name?" I ask. I'm not really mad, just frustrated. I'll have to talk to Jared later.

"My name is Riley, ma'am." He says. What's up with all this 'Miss' and 'Ma'am' stuff? It's getting annoying.

"Okay, stop calling me Ma'am!" I almost freak out, but got my self under control just in time.

"I'm sorry," He says. This time, he actually looks at me.

I feel hands on my waist and the two very annoying wolves in front of me bow.

"Why do you restrict me from certain areas?" I whine as I turn around. I see Jared, who looks mad. I can feel, though, that's he's not. He's hurt, which makes it even worse. I stop complaining almost instantly. He waves his hand and Riley and Mark leave.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Why?" He says.

"Why what?"

"I told you that I didn't like it when you and Iren are in the same area, and now you're going to visit him?" I can feel that he feels betrayed. I grab his shoulders.

"I only did it because I wanted to see what made you so scared for me. I wanted to see why he was such a big deal. He's behind bars. There's not much he can do."

"Stop talking about me and just come talk to me!" I heard a male voice scream from the concrete block; Iren.

I felt the hurt melt from Jared.

"Okay, I forgive you." He whispered. He bent down and kissed me.

"Hey, Jared?" I asked as I pulled away.

"Hmm?"

"Will you ever stop restricting me from things?"

"Hm" He says, thinking. Finally, after what seems like forever, he answers. "Fine."I could feel my face light up with excitement. "From now on, you will be allowed every where that I'm allowed, which is anywhere I want. I'll send out the message." I could hear him in my head, telling the whole pack to not to keep me back anymore.

I laughed with happiness. Yay! No more trouble!

"Aww how sweet!" I heard Iren yell.

"Now can I go see him?" I asked, eagerness in my voice.

"Sure, but please don't get to close." He had that same worried look that he's had since he found out I was pregnant.

I ran to the gate and clicked open the lock. The code was easy, it was my birthday, Jared's choice, of course; 0622. I carefully stepped down the stairs, careful not to trip. I heard Jared close the gate after me, then his steady footsteps behind me. I turned around and started to walk backward.

I giggled as he tried to catch up to me. Suddenly, I missed a step, sending me flying backwards. My head hurtled toward the stone ground at an amazing rate. I closed my eyes, knowing there was nothing I could do. I was jerked to a stop and felt a painful twist in my arm. I opened my eyes to see that Jared had grabbed my arm, stopping my fall. He pulled me back up, and I fell into his arms.

"Uh, thanks" I blushed.

"Will you please be more careful?" he asked. He was so scared for me. I could feel it, and I realized that this was all real. Everything. Reality just hit me now, which is not a good thing. I've been living my whole life thinking it was all a game, until now. I looked to the ground. I don't know what to do now. This is all actually happening. I'm a werewolf, I'm mated to an amazing young man, and I'm pregnant.

"Yeah. Sorry."

He lifts my head and gently kissed me.

"Thanks. I needed that" I say, my eyes still closed. I smile. Opening my eyes, I turn away and start down the stairs again.

Finally, we reach the bottom, and I'm hit square in the face with a putrid stench.

'What is that?' I ask Jared through our mind link, not wanting to make noise.

'That, my dear, is Iren. He likes to do his business in the corner, instead of the toilet we installed in all the cells.'

'It reeks' I cover my nose with the top of my shirt. We walk three cells down until we get to Irens. He is sitting against the wall, his knee propped up with his arm on it. The other leg is straight out, his other hand rested on the cold ground.

"Hey baby" He says. If I didn't know better, I'd think he was drunk. Jared takes a step forward but I put my hand on his arm, calming him.

"Why are you here?" I ask, my face straight. He ignores my question.

"Do you like the dream you had last night?"

My jaw falls to the floor. How did he know about that dream? I look at Jared. His eyes are yellow, and I can feel the rage and shock radiating off him.

"I would have gotten you, too, if you didn't wake up."

'I think it's time to go.' I say to Jared. He puts his arm around my waist and walks me out.

"Enjoy your dreams!" I hear Iren yell after us. "You won't be alive to enjoy many more!"

A tear escapes my eyes as we reach the gate. I see that Mark and Riley took up their positions again.

Jared looks at Riley and nods his head slightly when we come out. I watch as Riley and Mark go into the cell house. Not long after they go down into the cells, I hear screams of agony as they beat Iren, and, shockingly, I don't feel the slightest hint of sympathy for the sad excuse of a werewolf that he is.
