And here we are, this is going to be one of the last chapters, are you ready for the exciting conclusion to this trilogy? No? I'm not either, but nevertheless, here we go.

Akari's POV:

Akari was one of thousands of people who had gathered in the main town on the 22nd floor. She was one of thousands who had been called by the Guild Alliance council.

(Guild Alliance was formed after part two to prevent future fighting between guilds. Council is made up of the leader from each guild, and their second in command. They are the only form of government in Aincrad.)

She still was seeing more people pour out if the teleporter nearby and crowding towards a stage that had been set up.

After a few minutes, several people came onto the stage and faced the crowd. Akari climbed atop a nearby lamppost to see over the crowd.

The Leader of the Knights of the blood oath stepped forward after a moment and addressed the crowd

"Warriors, crafters, mothers daughters, sons... this is indeed a sad day for Aincrad. Even as we speak, scouts have reported that the army that took the first floor by storm are preparing to attack this floor."

There were gasps of shock from the crowd at this news, some people panicked and started crying out.

"Now hold on. Just because they are coming doesn't mean that we have to be scared. I know that there are many among you who would have jumped at the chance to gain so many levels. It hasn't been much of a priority lately, but there was a time when we were the force to be reckoned with in Aincrad, and I see no reason why we can't be again. What do you all say, will you pledge your weapons to the front line once more to rid the land of this menace?"

The people were quiet, still soaking in the encouraging words spoken.

"I'll pledge my swords." Called out a voice.

Everyone turned to see none other than the Black Swordsman, Kirito, standing strong at the back of the crowd. He strode forward and the crowd split open before him. When he got to the front of the crowd and onto the stage, he turned and addressed the crowd as well.

"You all know me, so who will follow me into battle, I know some of you have, and others have dreamed of it, so this is your chance to do it for something that really matters. Are you with me?"

The crowd that had been dead silent before now burst out in cheers at Kirito's words. Akari smiled as she climbed down from her perch.

"That's dad for you, inspiration and courage for the masses." akari thought to herself.

Akari and what seemed like the whole of Aincrad mobilized and armed themselves for combat. Akari had heard the stories of when the whole populace of Aincrad was armed, but she hadn't realized just what that meant until that moment. Seeing rank after rank of people who suddenly were wearing armor of every size and description. She quickly ran through the streets, heading for one particular shop that she knew had the one thing that she would need for the coming fight.

"Hey Aunt Liz." Akari said as she entered her Aunt's blacksmith shop.

"Hey Akari." Aunt Liz said. "What can I do for you on the eve of battle?"

"I need that armor you and I talked about before." Akari said.

Aunt Liz squinted at her in suspicion. "And what happens when you get yourself hurt trying to play soldier and your dad gets mad at me?" She said.
